4 College Senior

Guys & Girls: People are really friendly and most of my friends have met awesome people to date or just to hang out with by talking to their classmates and joining clubs or study groups.

4 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: There is a lot of diversity at this school. It's not hard to find people who have the same interests as you and most people get along in class. Sometimes the average student acts like they're fresh out of high school but maybe some are..

3 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: Everyone is very to themselves. They worry about their own problems. There are many diverse friend groups at this school. That is one positivity of this school. The variety of people you will encounter. Everyone is very unique in their own way.

On average, students at UIC are somewhat conservative. Dating is an active part of student life, and many are involved in serious relationships—hence, few epic tales of random hookups and wild parties float around campus. Without breaking a sweat, one can spot students on campus holding hands and displaying affection for one another. Now, although UIC has a diverse student body, interracial relationships are rare on campus. Relationships usually stay amongst students of the same race, leaving a smaller game population when it comes to finding a partner. Fortunately, local bars and clubs are great places where one can meet young singles from other universities and surrounding areas.

The ratio of sexually active students to those who aren’t is quite even. Birth control is readily available on campus at the health center, and students are given a lot of it. Relationship advice and counseling are also available for those students who are overwhelmed by the stress of college and managing a relationship. And if one doesn’t find what one is looking for on campus, a whole city awaits.
