3 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: there are some small groups of really really cool people, and overall most people are nice, but typically just average people.

Guys & Girls: Don't really pay attention to this

Guys & Girls: They are average looking, nothing movie star good looks, but okay I guess.

3 College Senior

Guys & Girls: I am a 20 year old male and I would say that the University of Hartford has a good amount of nice girls on campus. There are the stuck up ones that aren't so easy to approach but there are more open girls, they might not wear the same expensive outfits and makeup but that doesn't mean they aren't beautiful women with beautiful minds, in fact usually they are.

Guys & Girls: A lot of my friends are in greek life and my boyfriend is too. I also plan on rushing come fall. So that's big here and that's what my circle's like. However, students that aren't involved don't feel left out. I think we have a nice eclectic community. It varies and not everyone is into the same thing but we all get along. You have your stereotypes but most people are a mixture.

There is a variety of different types of guys and girls on campus, and there is most likely someone for everyone. The students here all have different personalities, so they are able to attract attention from the opposite sex all of the time. The guys and girls are usually seen in groups of their friends, but many couples are often seen on campus, as well.

It is not as obvious to spot students who are hooking up. Students who are hooking up are not as open as students in relationships because they tend to be private about it, and usually only their friends know. There is no hidden affection for the couples, though—several duos can usually be seen around campus participating in PDAs (public displays of affection). Overall, University of Hartford students are not afraid to interact with one another, whether in class or in the dorms, so dating is not an issue here.

Social Scene
There is tons of social interaction at the University. In fact, it is sometimes hard to find a quiet spot because there is so much socializing going on. Students like to socialize in the student lounge during breaks between classes and in the dining areas. Friends often spend time in dorm rooms, where they hang out, relax, or study.
Hookups or Relationships?
There are many couples on campus, but there are also students who participate in random hookups. The couples are more prevalent, and while hookups do happen, they are not usually known about unless someone hears gossip or inside information. Couples are more likely to go public with their relationships.
Dress Code
Students here dress very casually for class or just hanging around campus, but when going out or to an event, they tend to glam up. On the weekend, it is not uncommon to see many girls in heels and guys in their best clothing. The students like to look their best when going out because most of the parties are just like fashion shows.
