Scholarships: Hope scholarship is provided to most in-state students who qualify, which makes affording college very reasonable.

4 College Freshman

Scholarships: Coming from what many would say is a well-off family, I found it hard to get many scholarships other than academic ones. I currently have the HOPE Scholarship because of my GPA throughout high school and my first semester. I find this to be very helpful because I know it takes some weight off of my parent's shoulders with tuition bills. It is also really easy because there's no application, they just apply it to your account.

Scholarships: I had a lot of issues because I was both a transfer student and a freshman at the same time, but the financial aid people were as helpful as they could be. No one really had that answers I needed at the time but they were all very nice.

4 College Freshman

Scholarships: They've always been really helpful. Of course the lottery (HOPE and Zell Miller) in-state scholarships are great, but can be difficult to maintain. Overall, I have had a good experience with scholarships and loans/financial aid.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: I think the process is pretty average for a big college
