Greek Life: I am not in a sorority so I can't give a good description other than what I see from the outside. The Greek life appears to be good for the campus and the community.

Majors: I am majoring in Biology and Ecology and absolutely love it! I am a bit concerned with the state of our economy with finding a job when I graduate in December. I ultimately would LOVE to own my own farm sanctuary and form a non-profit organization supporting animal rights.

Local Area: There is always something going on in Athens for people of every age.

Campus Quality: There simply is something for everyone in Athens. UGA is at the center of everything practically that goes on in this city. The study abroad program is awesome!

Scholarships: I really had no complaints and do not know exactly what to compare it to.

4 Recent Alumnus

Diversity: The diversity is evenly spread.

Campus Food: As a vegetarian, there are not enough choices offered.

4 Recent Alumnus

Guys & Girls: There is a great diversity of students.

3 Recent Alumnus

Off-Campus Housing: It is impossible to find a one bedroom apartment that is suitable to live in for under $500, making it very difficult for any student. The ones under that cost are unsanitary and in unsafe areas of town.

One of the most amazing things about students at UGA is that I have never heard one person say they don't like being here. UGA and Athens have so much to offer in so many different categories, that there really is something for everyone. The positive energy of 30,000 people who are happy to be here is captivating, and something you will instantly want to be a part of. It will not take long before you regard Athens as your second home, and after about a week, most students forget how big a school it is.

It's exciting to be in Athens because there is always something going on, whether it is entertainment, a demonstration, job fairs, or just a chance to hang out with people you just met who are now your best friends. Students are encouraged to explore their talents and make the most of their four years here, and most students are able to achieve their ultimate "college experience." Sometimes, it seems like we are all characters in some cheesy teen movie because college life in Athens is so classic, but academically, socially, and personally, this school seems to have changed most of us for the better.
