4 College Sophomore

Scholarships: The only help I recieved was hope, and they pretty much handled it for me.

5 College Sophomore

Campus Food: Really great food, and extremely convenient if you live on campus. I do wish there was a lunch plan though!

Campus Housing: Only downfall is that you share a tiny room with another person and community bathrooms, but it was a wonderful experience!

Off-Campus Housing: In general, I liked the three apartments that I lived in.

Campus Food: The dining halls are great and snelling is open all night monday through thursday which is awesome

5 College Freshman

Campus Housing: I had a wonderful time staying on campus this last year

3 College Junior

Greek Life: I chose to not join.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: Chick fil a is the best

2 College Junior

Scholarships: Do not take into account that there are several other children in family who are in college. Tried to take out private loan to help pay for expenses and would not approve amount needed.

3 College Junior

Campus Food: Can eat off campus cheaper. Food is good.

3 College Junior

Campus Housing: Large Campus. Buildings are older but have class.

5 College Freshman

Party Scene: I'm in a sorority and enjoy both greek and non-greek parties here.

3 College Freshman

Administration: The rules are there for a reason and I understand why they have them; it's not good or bad

2 College Freshman

Scholarships: With their tuition prices going up all the time it's hard for me and my family to afford this school at times because even though I have the Zell Miller Scholarship the rest of the fees cost so much.

3 College Freshman

Campus Food: UGA really hypes up their food but when serving thousands of people the quality isn't there all the time. There is good food and there is bad food but I mostly found myself eating the same thing everyday because the other options weren't appetizing to me.

5 College Freshman

Campus Housing: The University of Georgia is the most incredible campus I've ever been on. It's spacious, clean, social, and everyone here it hard working. They make it very convenient for students by providing ample transportation, variety of classes, and services.

3 College Freshman

Greek Life: I wasn't into the Greek life, but they seem to be having fun.

4 College Freshman

Athletics: The school is very spirited when it comes to UGA football.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: The off-campus apartments and townhomes are pretty affordable. Everyone goes to the same three neighborhoods, though.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: There is variety but it's not cost effective to eat at an off-campus restaurant.

One of the most amazing things about students at UGA is that I have never heard one person say they don't like being here. UGA and Athens have so much to offer in so many different categories, that there really is something for everyone. The positive energy of 30,000 people who are happy to be here is captivating, and something you will instantly want to be a part of. It will not take long before you regard Athens as your second home, and after about a week, most students forget how big a school it is.

It's exciting to be in Athens because there is always something going on, whether it is entertainment, a demonstration, job fairs, or just a chance to hang out with people you just met who are now your best friends. Students are encouraged to explore their talents and make the most of their four years here, and most students are able to achieve their ultimate "college experience." Sometimes, it seems like we are all characters in some cheesy teen movie because college life in Athens is so classic, but academically, socially, and personally, this school seems to have changed most of us for the better.
