Overall Experience: I have recently returned to UGA after almost 30 years. I was so impressed with the quality of the professors and their interest in students. They are approachable and very willing to work with and help the students. I am also impressed with the student body. They are a diverse group of people who are truly interested in their education process and their learning community.

Greek Life: I don't really have an opinion here, because I am not involved in Greek life.

4 College Freshman

Athletics: There is always a sporting event to attend or play at this school. The loss of Coach Richt was disappointing, but still looking forward to the next football season.

Overall Experience: Overall, I have had a positive experience. It would have helped to have a roommate with a similar major or taking the same courses as me. Most of my teachers were helpful with the exception of one who did not answer my emails and was not present for office hours when I needed help.

5 College Senior

Athletics: Everyone is excited about the athletics.

Academics: There is a variety of courses to take here; and registration can be tough if certain classes are full. The workload varies among the classes but there are plenty of tutoring options on campus.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Each professor has a different teaching style and most of my experiences in my classes were pretty good. I have learned a lot and there is a wide variety of courses offered. Class sizes vary on types of classes.

Overall Experience: The career center is a great resource to find out more information about careers. internships, application process, etc. Each semester, there is always a career fair available for students seeking future employers or possible part- and full-time employment. This offers a great opportunity for students to give out resumes and speak with many employers from various companies.

5 College Freshman

Athletics: People are very involved in the athletics here; they are very school-spirited and have a positive attitude for it.

One of the most amazing things about students at UGA is that I have never heard one person say they don't like being here. UGA and Athens have so much to offer in so many different categories, that there really is something for everyone. The positive energy of 30,000 people who are happy to be here is captivating, and something you will instantly want to be a part of. It will not take long before you regard Athens as your second home, and after about a week, most students forget how big a school it is.

It's exciting to be in Athens because there is always something going on, whether it is entertainment, a demonstration, job fairs, or just a chance to hang out with people you just met who are now your best friends. Students are encouraged to explore their talents and make the most of their four years here, and most students are able to achieve their ultimate "college experience." Sometimes, it seems like we are all characters in some cheesy teen movie because college life in Athens is so classic, but academically, socially, and personally, this school seems to have changed most of us for the better.
