Overall Experience: University of Florida is an overall great school. I love the campus and the layout of the school and how much school spirit there is. I would choose this school all over again because I love the people I have met and the classes I have taken. It's a great school!

Academics: UF offers a variety of majors. A lot of people even go to farriors to change their major. The academic advisors are always there for the students. Some classes require student to put in a lot of work, while others, the does not.

Health & Safety: There are police everywhere in UF. I see people getting citations everyday. I know that it is for our own good, but I think the police should cite people less and let them go.

Overall Experience: I enjoy my classes. Some classes are big because people are required to take them, for example The Good Life. Other classes are smaller, depending on the semester. I enjoy both the large classes and the small classes.

Overall Experience: There are a lot of majors that one can choose from. There is something called career day where people are allowed to get interviews and could get an internship.

Athletics: The facilities are great. There are multiple gyms that are open to both athletes and non-athlete students all around campus. The stadiums are great and usually open for use during the week

Overall Experience: Overall the campus and community is great. We are all one big family and you can see it anywhere you go, especially at the swamp on game day. There are nearly 1000 different clubs and organizations to be a part of so there's something for everyone. Academics can be challenging but that's the point of college, coming to challenge yourself, and the professors are always happy to help if you ask.

Campus Housing: The only thing I have about dorms are the cost, other than that, I love living in campus. However, I live out of campus after my first semester at UF.

5 College Freshman

Greek Life: I am not in Greek Life, but I heard that people in UF enjoys Greek Life.

Athletics: Everything is centered around Gator Nation, especially the sports. During game days, the whole stadium is packed with people wearing blue and orange. The students support the football players, even though the player took drugs when he is not suppose to. The team this year is in their best.

Overall Experience: I love being at UF. All the classes have excellent professors teaching the courses. Even the TA's all know what they are doing. The only class that I find lacking is The Good Life (IUF1000). It is a required class at UF and I just don't know what to say about it. I mean the professor teaching the class tries to make the class more enjoyable but to me, it seems like a class where UF is trying to get money out of the freshmans. One thing I love is the gym, the southwest gym in UF is bigger than any other gym I've went to. Another thing I like is UF recreational sports. It allows people to be more active. Gator Nation makes our school unique. If I had a choice, I would choose UF again.

Overall Experience: As a graduate student I have had an appropriate amount of work and reading for my program. My professors have been demanding as I expected them to be.

5 College Senior

Overall Experience: This is a top University in the state of Florida. I am in a top program and it has a 100% hire rate upon program completion. I have an internship lined up through my program for the spring and have high expectations for next semester.

3 College Senior

Health & Safety: There are lots of billboards and notices to encourage students to use the safety services on campus. Students are required to take a sexual safety test or education unit online that explains sexual harassment and assault before the end of drop add. There is also a blue light system in place on campus but some of the units are far apart. There is a text message system to warn students of reported activities such a as assault and robbery with suspect description and status updates to keep everyone informed.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: I am in a small graduate program and my cohort is comprised of amazing students who were hand picked for the program and I am excited to call them my peers and future colleagues. I work 20 hours a week on top of a 12+ credit hour load and start an internship in the spring. I'm glad to have such wonderful support in my program and feel like I am surrounded by people who want me to succeed.

Athletics: School spirit is high at the university. I am not a sports fan so I normally don't participate.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: There are many off-campus housing opportunities and many different ones to choose from. Most of the housing includes many amenities with pretty reasonable cost.

2 College Sophomore

Party Scene: I personally don't feel that there are enough parties around.

Some schools have certain advantages over others. Small schools give a feeling of community; large schools have lots of resources; private schools are ripe for close academic relationships with faculty; and state schools offer a good value. Well, UF is not your typical state school, and Gainesville is certainly not your stereotypical small town. Because this place is so big, it has all of the libraries, dorms, athletics, courses, clubs, and services you could want at a good price. But if you put forth just a little effort, you’ll find that the University also has more compassionate, down-to-earth professors, locals, and students that any small, private school could ever dream of having.

The best thing about going to a school like UF is that whatever you want to accomplish in life, it is probably obtainable through going to this school. You will never have to worry about not fitting in with anyone because the campus is a huge melting pot. Students are never bored on campus because there is literally always something to do with friends both on or off campus. And who wouldn't want to go to a school where the immense amount of school pride is literally unexplainable? It sure is great to be a Florida Gator.
