Health & Safety: Campus is well lit. The campus alert system sends texts which usually is about close places off campus. Hardly any on campus crimes. There are emergency call systems as well.

Overall Experience: Really depends on the course. I have had really good professors and some really bad ones. Some classes are graded based on only exams, while some have quizzes and extra work to even out the scores. There is a variety and sometimes it's just luck for professors.

Overall Experience: I've heard that there's lots of career options for graduates

Greek Life: Lots of campus events are centered around Greek Life. The student government is also decided on by Greeks because they are usually forced to vote for one side. Some Greek students are great and others aren't. Usually people don't judge just because someone is in a Greek. I don't know much about Greek Life, but I believe there is housing available to upperclassmen.

Health & Safety: There is not much campus crime and every few feet there are security boxes where you can press a button and the police with be there within minutes. there is also snap which is super easy to use and many students take advantage of it as well as the safety app. Overall students fell safe on campus.

Overall Experience: The professors are very engaging with the students, and the courses are about normal with average class sizes but the discussion sections allow for a more in depth learning. there are many classes to choose from and many styles and sizes.

Overall Experience: Many students get help with internships and job opportunities from the school. The career center is very helpful and so are the career fairs on campus.

Campus Housing: Living on campus you met some amazing people who become your friends. By living on campus you live in a whole different community. All of the dorm options are amazing and there are many options for what type of dorm you would like. The cost is not super great, it could be a tad lower but all of the amenities are great. And there is always something to do in the dorms, whether it is hanging out with friends, studying, or attending an event.

Greek Life: Many students are involved in greek life and do things with their frats or sororities at least once a week. The Greek life brings more students together and helps make us one big community. Many students either want to be part of the greeks for the connections and friends but if they don't, they are not treated any differently by their choice. Many of the Greek organizations have housing on campus that is offered to their members if they would like to be more involved.

Athletics: Students are very involved in campus sports, especially football. If you want to go exercise, there are two gums on campus with an abundant amount of classes to participate in and equipment to use. Our school spirit is amazing, it is shown everyday by wearing gator apparel and especially on game day when fans go all out.

Overall Experience: Teachers really encourage you to find help from them, the teaching center, or your TA's if you need it. Everyone is so friendly and helpful, and it truly is one gator nation.

Health & Safety: The campus is safe. There have not been any incidents on campus where someone could have gotten hurt due to a crime.

Overall Experience: I have no real complaints about this school except my CHM2045 professor was terrible, and the people handing out flyers at Turlington Plaza can be really annoying.

Overall Experience: If you are a Gator, people love you, unless those people are from FSU, in which case they will avoid you like the plague.

Campus Housing: My only complaint is that the people on my floor do not do a very good job at cleaning up after themselves; finding hair mats in the shower is the worst!

Greek Life: Some Greeks are awesome, smart, funny, and do nice things for the community. Other Greeks are irresponsible idiots who like to spend every night partying. The houses seem small but look really nice.

Athletics: I am not a big sports fan, but athletics area big part of life here. Mostly, our teams do well, and many people here are avid sports supporters. The gyms and rec centers here are top notch.

Overall Experience: My experience has been very good. I am able to be involved with clubs while maintaining a high GPA. I really like how helpful the professors and TAs are and like how everything I need (like stores, libraries, and restaurants) are easy to access.

Overall Experience: I really love it here, wouldn't change a thing.

Health & Safety: I've made good use of our counseling services and our student clinic. I usually don't come across many problems when I'm utilizing these facilities so I'd say my experiences have been pretty well.

Some schools have certain advantages over others. Small schools give a feeling of community; large schools have lots of resources; private schools are ripe for close academic relationships with faculty; and state schools offer a good value. Well, UF is not your typical state school, and Gainesville is certainly not your stereotypical small town. Because this place is so big, it has all of the libraries, dorms, athletics, courses, clubs, and services you could want at a good price. But if you put forth just a little effort, you’ll find that the University also has more compassionate, down-to-earth professors, locals, and students that any small, private school could ever dream of having.

The best thing about going to a school like UF is that whatever you want to accomplish in life, it is probably obtainable through going to this school. You will never have to worry about not fitting in with anyone because the campus is a huge melting pot. Students are never bored on campus because there is literally always something to do with friends both on or off campus. And who wouldn't want to go to a school where the immense amount of school pride is literally unexplainable? It sure is great to be a Florida Gator.
