3 College Junior

Administration: The school takes the academic honesty very seriously. It also reacts more strongly to things that affect other students.

4 College Freshman

Administration: I have no problems with it at all. Obey the rules and be ethical and you shouldn't have any problems.

3 College Freshman

Administration: Administration is very focused on making DU a West Coast Ivy, they don't care much for student issues besides that.

4 College Freshman

Administration: Honestly, Campus Safety at DU is excellent. They are reasonable and only intervene when it appears that students are endangering themselves or others. I have walked, incredibly drunk through dorm lobbies, back from bars and even had a conversation with an officer without any repercussions. Just be respectful, mature and appear responsible and your fine. As for safety on campus, it's a very safe campus... don't knock Campo until you know how much they keep us students safe. The last time a DU student was arrested on campus/near campus was over ten years ago...and we do a lot of stupid shit. Just keep that in mind before you judge them, they are doing the best they can with the resources they have.

4 College Junior

Administration: I'm not very familiar with the administration as I am an online student for the most part.

The DU "police" are not to be feared. Usually, offenses don't end up tarnishing your school record or emptying your wallet. You might get a few slaps on the hand, unless the offense is something more serious, such as driving drunk or selling drugs on campus. RAs do their best to keep things quiet and relatively under control in the dorms, and as long as you don't blare your music too loud or get sloshed in your room, most likely you won't incur any serious run-ins.

Probably the biggest no-no on DU's campus is drinking in the dorms, considering DU markets itself as a dry campus. In their job description, RAs are required to inform the administration of any and all names of students caught drinking or doing drugs in the dorms, so be careful. Although you probably won't get suspended or expelled on the first account, mounting charges could equate to more serious penalties.
