UD has a 100% no hazing policy and this is a huge reason why I decided to rush for a sorority. I ended up joining a sorority only two weeks after I transferred. The greek life is a caring and welcoming community. Although one aspect is the parties I really enjoy the philanthropic part of greek life. Some people are judgmental about greek life because of what they hear in the media about it, but much of it is not realistic. Everyone no matter the "ranking" is proud to wear their letters around campus!

I love the University of Delaware! The education is fantastic, and the campus is absolutely beautiful. The only downfall is the treatment of the more diverse students - the administration seems a little bit unsure of how to treat "different" students - LGBTQ+, PoC, etc.

I absolutely love the University of Delaware! If you can get into the honors college, your freshman year will without a doubt be better than any of your friends. The honors housing is top notch. This campus has everything you would need within a 5 minute walk of your dorm. The food is great, the classes are a perfect size, and there is so much to do. If you like to go out, there are definitely plentiful parties. If not, there are so many other activities on the weekends to keep you entertained. I am a chemical engineering major, and the work is challenging but the professors encourage you to work with others and do not creative a competitive atmosphere at all. If you get into this school, you would be stupid not to come.
