It can get pretty hectic to be a bio major and another major with a minor. As University of Delaware is a public Ivy it's a pretty competitive curriculum. Internships are competitive and require hardwork. There are definitely Job opportunities for people who need work study but they are first come first serve based. Other Jobs are also available but they are competitive and first come first sever. One might think since it's Delaware there aren't that many program but that is wrong. There are a lot of Career programs, internship programs, class programs UDEL has with other colleges and Universities. Some are direct and some are not but there are definitely connections. Facilities at University of Delaware are okay!

I absolutely love the University of Delaware! If you can get into the honors college, your freshman year will without a doubt be better than any of your friends. The honors housing is top notch. This campus has everything you would need within a 5 minute walk of your dorm. The food is great, the classes are a perfect size, and there is so much to do. If you like to go out, there are definitely plentiful parties. If not, there are so many other activities on the weekends to keep you entertained. I am a chemical engineering major, and the work is challenging but the professors encourage you to work with others and do not creative a competitive atmosphere at all. If you get into this school, you would be stupid not to come.

Favorite experiences of my school contains of all the extra curricular activities they organize which vary from free- at a very cheap cost. For example we have had big celebrities and famous personalities for concerts and shows such as Ed Sheeran, Jcole, Aziz Ansari, Sonia Sotomayor, ofcourse our Alumni Vice-President Joe Biden so many times and many more popular figures in the past when I was not even enrolled at the University of Delaware. Joe Biden was just present at the University of Delaware's graduating class's commencement and gave an excellent speech. What makes my School unique is that even though Delaware is small living on campus in Newark feels like living in a city but also isolated from the rest of the state noise. So it's best of both worlds because everything is easily accessible and going everywhere else is so much closer too. For instance, Philadelphia is just right around the corner about 40 minutes away. Maryland is 25 mins away and New York is close too. So one can definitely go out of state in round about an hour or so with car or if one does not have car we have the service of mega bus which is so cheap and works best for college students. Whats sad is they might be shutting this mega bus service but there are definitely other ways to go around town and out with trains which are only about few dollars with a full day pass to Philadelphia, New York and other places. There are also other bus services! I would definitely choose my school again because it is only 20 mins away from home and I live on campus so I have both experiences of living close to home, going home on weekends if I want to but to also enjoy and explore campus.
