4 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: Nobody will pressure you into it, but a lot of people engage.

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Get the good professors and they will teach you all you need to know.

5 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: Don't walk alone off campus after midnight and you will never have any problems

2 College Sophomore

Greek Life: You don't need to be in a frat to get into a frat party

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: School is awesome, if your social and friendly you will thrive here. Just remember to put yourself out there and try new things.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: I will always love UD

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: My friends love it there

4 College Junior

Health & Safety: For the most part the campus is very safe. There are random events from people outside the UD community that cause issues.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Had opportunities at plenty of co-op/internships within the mechanical engineering industry. Enjoyed my time there as a student, and grew immensely along the way.

4 College Junior

Campus Housing: Never really had issues with my housing options (Stuart, Campus South, Irving Commons, Lawnview Apartments). The housing lottery seemed to have some issues though.

3 College Junior

Greek Life: I am not much of a fan or contributer to greek life, so I am not a good person to give input.

3 College Junior

Athletics: There is only one facility for non-athletes. Although that may seem better than nothing, it still caused issues around the new year when the gym was pretty much filled the entire day.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: The school has a great community of students and faculty. Majority of the teachers come prepared for the entire school year on a class by class basis.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Good class size - teachers are accessible

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Lots of professional learning and job opportunities when I'm ready to take that step.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: Rooms are air conditioned and I really enjoyed my floor.

3 College Sophomore

Greek Life: Greek or not greek doesn't make much difference here. I can't pledge because of sports.

4 College Sophomore

Athletics: Great fans - very faithful. Sports center is great.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Great time meeting lots of new people. Large enough to be well known and have D1 sports, but small enough that I know a lot of people.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Overall my educational experience has been great thus far. I've been lucky with professors and nearly all of them have been very professional, helpful, understanding, knowledgeable, and passionate about their subjects. While courses can be extremely difficult and time consuming, it helps to have accesible TAs and professors as well as small (generally under 30 student) class sizes. As an engineer, I don't have much flexibility in variety of ocurses to take, but as I understand it, other majors do.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: As far as I understand, the University has a strong alumni network that comes in very useful at a lot of companies. There are a ton of resources available in terms of job searches, resume help, internship and co-op searches. There are 2 (I think) job fairs each year with attendance from all sorts of companies, which are great places to network, make connetions, and find a good job (or at least a starter job). I feel very confident that I'll be able to quickly find a job in my feild following graduation.

3 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: While I feel safe and comfortable with almost all students and faculty on campus, UD itself is surrounded by areas that are not the safest and incidents have increased recently of non-students/faculty causing issues on campus (robberies, armed robberies, etc).

3 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: The freshman and sophomore dorms are generally pretty great, they hugely help build the community that UD is known for early on and theyre nicer than most freshman and sophomore dorms that I've seen. Upperclassmen generally live in the Ghetto student housing, which is on the upswing in quality (many houses are new or being redone and fixed up - many are still pretty trashed, though), but in my opinion is still expensive for the quality and amenities. The housing process, however, was recently changed from the lottery system and is absolute trash. Students must attend events outside of class and other activities in order to earn points that go towards housing. It's a huge issue on campus and makes no sense. Overall, though, housing itself is pretty good and everything is close to campus.

3 College Sophomore

Greek Life: I am not a part of Greek life, but fortunately that doesn't make much of an impact on my social life at UD. Greeks are generally welcoming towards non-Greeks and vice-versa. I have heard great things about Greek life from those involved, but it's not a huge deal at all if you are not. I would say that Greek men are mostly party-oriented and don't focus much on the other aspects of Greek life, but they are generally pretty cool, if not a bit more douchey than the general population.

4 College Sophomore

Athletics: Men's varsity basketball obviously reigns at UD, March Madness is insane and support for the team is unyeilding. Most other sports teams, however, are often forgotten about, especially the women's basketball team (who often do better than the men). Intramurals are pretty big though, with competitive and non-competitive leagues so everyone can get involved.
