Athletics: The RecPlex is really nice and it offers a variety of options so that everyone can stay healthy in the way that works best for them. Plus, the free yoga classes during finals week are great for relieving stress.

Greek Life: Greek life isn't a huge thing on campus, unless you're a part of it. I don't really even know who's a part of it and who's not. The bigger sororities and fraternities have houses in the neighborhood, but they're not all that different from the other houses on the street. I'm not a part of it, but I don't think it's that difficult to join a sorority or fraternity. But it's not really a big deal if you don't.

Party Scene: I'm not really into the party scene, but the people I know who are really enjoy it. There always seems to be something going on, even in the winter when it's too cold to be outside on the lawns in the student neighborhoods. People seem to really have a good time and I think it helps to build the sense of community that we strive for at the university.

Off-Campus Dining: There are a lot of restaurants near campus and they are pretty affordable.

Administration: Administration, I think, does a good job of connecting with and listening to the students. While they have the final say on most issues, the Student Government Association is very active and they are good at being the bridge between the students and the administrators. I don't have a lot of experience with administration, but I think they are pretty easy to get a hold of, and very willing to listen to what students have to say.

Campus Food: I really liked the food on campus. There were always a variety of options and everything tasted good. It was sometimes difficult to find things that I hadn't had a lot of times by the end of the semester, but that is to be expected. Dining services does a really good job. Everything is accessible, there are plenty of options, and it's delicious.

Scholarships: The financial aid process was good. The hardest part for my parents was filling out the FAFSA, but that's not the schools fault. My scholarships were alway processed on time and I never had any trouble with errors on the billing statements or anything like that.

Campus Housing: The dorm I lived in my freshman year was small, but the hallways were big and the limited space inside the rooms kind of forced me to leave and meet new people. And that was the best thing that could have happened because my floor, and everyone on the nearby floors, was awesome and I met some of my best friends through social events in the dorm and the activities that they planned for us. The room itself was furnished nicely and it was air conditioned/heated well. The bathrooms were nice and usually clean too.

Administration: It's okay. The cops will respect you if you respect them. Sometimes they do unnecessary things though. Overall the strictness of RAs varies by person.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: They give big academic scholarships compared to public colleges but the tuition is very expensive on its own. Also a new "summer study abroad scholarship" was given to freshman honors students but the actual qualifications to use the scholarship were not made known to students.

4 College Freshman

Campus Food: There is a great variety of healthy and yummy food. Hours are not the best because most places close at 10 but a couple different smaller places do stay open until 1.

Campus Housing: The freshman dorms are all different. Two of them have very small rooms and two of them have pretty good sized/large rooms. Almost everyone lives on campus. It makes for a very engaging social atmosphere and everyone is friendly.

5 College Freshman

Greek Life: Greek life is great and it is not frowned upon if you don't join a fraternity or sorority.

4 College Freshman

Athletics: Basketball games are tons of fun, especially when the NCAA tournament rolls around. No one cares about the football team or any other sport, really. People have a lot of school spirit.

4 College Freshman

Party Scene: We only have a few bars so if you're into the heavy bar scene, then this night life isn't for you. People usually just roam the ghetto and attend house parties. For the most part, house parties welcome anyone in and offer you free beer. We are known for our day drinks, which are my favorite and I have the most fun at them.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Its the usual panera bread, jimmy johns, chipotle options.....nothing special.

3 College Freshman

Administration: Police can be very rude.

4 College Freshman

Scholarships: UD gives out a lot of scholarships to high schoolers.

Campus Food: UD is nationally ranked for food. It would be nice if we had at least two more food options that are different than the rest. If you live in Marycrest your freshman year, the dining hall gets gross after a short time. VWK has good sandwich options.

Campus Housing: the housing/lottery system is easily the worst thing about this school.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: Very limited choices. Unreasonably expensive...they follow the lead of the university on pricing...gouge the students!

4 College Junior

Party Scene: Good people. Good times.

2 College Junior

Scholarships: High school changed grade point system from a 4 point system to a 5 point system. Under new system, qualified for more academic scholarship. School stated it was too late and then questioned if we really needed it...this was not need based, but performance based. Denied appropriate scholarship.

2 College Junior

Campus Food: Food is good but way, way over priced. Everything is a-la-carte.

1 College Junior

Campus Housing: Very poor process for assigning housing. Underclassmen are frequently prioritized over seniors in housing selection. System for assigning housing is an unfair and consumes significant resources. Assigning housing basis credits earned and GPA would use much less resources and be much more fair to students.
