3 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: Very limited choices. Unreasonably expensive...they follow the lead of the university on pricing...gouge the students!

4 College Junior

Party Scene: Good people. Good times.

2 College Junior

Scholarships: High school changed grade point system from a 4 point system to a 5 point system. Under new system, qualified for more academic scholarship. School stated it was too late and then questioned if we really needed it...this was not need based, but performance based. Denied appropriate scholarship.

2 College Junior

Campus Food: Food is good but way, way over priced. Everything is a-la-carte.

1 College Junior

Campus Housing: Very poor process for assigning housing. Underclassmen are frequently prioritized over seniors in housing selection. System for assigning housing is an unfair and consumes significant resources. Assigning housing basis credits earned and GPA would use much less resources and be much more fair to students.

5 College Freshman

Campus Housing: Houses for all seniors and a good portion of juniors

5 College Student

Overall Experience: I would never choose to go anywhere else, I love UD!

Off-Campus Dining: I come from a town outside a city, and Dayton has about the same amount of options as I had at home to dine out.

4 College Student

Administration: I've never had any trouble with the adm. here.

5 College Student

Scholarships: What's nice about UD is they promise to keep the price that you're paying for college the same all four years.

Campus Food: I'm a vegetarian, and I'm able to find a lot of healthy, quality foods for my diet on the meal plan.

4 College Student

Campus Housing: The dorms are pretty average they're nothing amazing but they have a lot of perks, they come with a mini fridge and a microwave. Compared to other colleges that I looked at, University of Dayton's dorms were pretty nice.

3 College Freshman

Administration: It's not horrible, It's not perfect, it's average.

4 College Freshman

Scholarships: The bursars office is easy to reach and easy to work with.

4 College Freshman

Party Scene: I like it, mainly because even though I must be cautious, I do not have to spend the entire night afraid me and friends may be harmed.

4 College Freshman

Campus Food: It tastes good, but the price is bitter.

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: I love Dayton and the dorms, especially the sense of community among the social atmosphere. I just wish the dorms could be closer to campus.

2 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: Because most upperclassman live in the student neighborhood, landlord options are few and far between.

2 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: As long as you like sandwich shops, you are good to go. There is hardly any other options within walking distance.

3 College Sophomore

Administration: The school is not terribly strict about most of its policies.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: Due to how expensive the school is, there should be more scholarship opportunities for students already enrolled.

5 College Sophomore

Campus Food: The worst dining hall at UD is better than the best at most schools. All the dining halls have tons of options and the Emporium acts like a mini grocery store. The food is overpriced which is why the meal plans are so expensive.

Campus Housing: Community is a word you hear everyday at Dayton. At first it seems like a little forced, but it's not. Everyone is friendly and you truly feel like you belong. Dorms are no exception. You get close to all your hallmates and its an awesome experience.
