5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Party scene is always welcoming, classes are tough but profs make them easy. Be confident. Focus on the weekday, don't get arrested on the weekend.

5 College Junior

Campus Housing: The housing is amazing because there are multiple neighborhoods that only have Dayton students in it. This adds to the community factor. The houses are also very close to the academic buildings.

Greek Life: Greek life does not have that big of an impact on student life. You don't need to join a fraternity to have fun. They throw parties that everyone is allowed to which is very nice.

Athletics: Flyer spirit is the best for varsity athletics. We stand behind our D1 athletes, especially in soccer and basketball. The school provides a lot of club and intramural sports for the students as well. It is nice to have the best of both worlds.

Overall Experience: I have enjoyed my time at dayton. My favorite part about the school is the community. Everyone looks out for each other, and it is easy to find your place. The school is very helpful with your future career so it is nice when you can depend on the university.

Party Scene: Nightlife is good at Dayton is does not get crazy but there is always welcoming parties to attend. If you aren't into drinking there are other options and usually campus events that are alcohol free

4 College Junior

Party Scene: Parties happen most every weekend in the student neighborhoods. They are very welcoming and usually do not get too crazy. They are safe and you dont feel uncomfortable at them

4 College Junior

Academics: Lots of classes avaliable but hard to get into the ones you want sometimes

2 College Junior

Diversity: Not much diversity at all. Middle class white kids mostly

3 College Sophomore

Academics: Decent classes and professors, average work load, not a lot of varariety of classes and its hard to get classes you want which is absurd. Hire more staff!

2 College Sophomore

Diversity: Its pretty much all white people from catholic high schools - middle to upper middle class. Christian values. I know almost zero gays which was different for me because my high school had a lot of gays. If you are gay, the guys will mock you. Don't come here. There are so many SAUDI ARABIAN foreign exchange students it is unbearable.

5 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: Don't come here if you do not like to party or do not want to party 4/7 days of week. There is nothing to do other than party here. If you don't party you will be labeled as "weird."

3 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: This school keeps getting more and more unsafe with more robberies and stabbings and sexual assaults. More police and safety polls need to installed. I don't feel safe anymore. I thought I could trust people here. The school's rescue scad is great though!!!

1 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: The new housing system "Aviate" just sucks. Students are forced to attend lectures outside of class to receive points. The more points you have, the better the house. This creates a competitive environment and away from the Dayton Community feel. It makes no sense and a to of students are completely pissed off with the housing system often leaving with no housing and forcing to sue. GET RID OF AVIATE. GO BACK TO THE LOTTERY SYSTEM.

3 College Sophomore

Greek Life: Greek Life is getting more and more competitive at UD. This past year 80% of girls signed up to rush so over half were caught and it is very competitive to get into Alpha Phi which is what a lot girls think is the "best." The good thing about UD is that only executives live in the greek houses so you can be friends with non-greeks. Overall, greek life is pretty chill at UD but growing.

4 College Sophomore

Athletics: Sports are not that big at Dayton besides basketball. Nobody goes to the football games.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I feel like after I graduate the University of Dayton I will become a more well rounded person. Most people here are happy.

4 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: Nobody will pressure you into it, but a lot of people engage.

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Get the good professors and they will teach you all you need to know.

5 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: Don't walk alone off campus after midnight and you will never have any problems

2 College Sophomore

Greek Life: You don't need to be in a frat to get into a frat party

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: School is awesome, if your social and friendly you will thrive here. Just remember to put yourself out there and try new things.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: I will always love UD

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: My friends love it there

4 College Junior

Health & Safety: For the most part the campus is very safe. There are random events from people outside the UD community that cause issues.
