4 College Sophomore

Diversity: There is not much racial diversity; most students are white or latino. The acceptance rate is very high academically; however, the acceptance rate socially is unstable. Most of the campus population is very friendly and accepting, but some students hold their beliefs, values, and morals much closer to them than others. Some people are very open and accepting, while others readily reject different kinds of people. The religious beliefs are extremely weighted toward Catholicism, with not much diversity. This indirectly answers the question of the diversity of sexual orientation.

3 College Junior

Diversity: UD could use some diversity.

3 College Sophomore

Diversity: Since it is a private catholic school 90% of the student body follows the same beliefs and morals. There are a few diverse people who are ver well-known.

5 College Sophomore

Diversity: Although the majority of UD's students are white, everyone is open to people of all ethnic backgrounds. I am not aware of any prejudice against a minority.

3 College Freshman

Diversity: Texas itself is a very conservative state. Also the catholic aspect of UD adds to the conservativeness of the students on campus. expect to be judged if what you do is not plain and ordinary but they wont do anything drastic that will affect you
