3 College Sophomore

Parking: There are several places where people can park but those areas can fill up quickly if you don't hurry. On the main lots you have to have a parking permit. People can park in the parking garage but have to pay per hour. Down the hill is a parking lot next to 4 Diamonds for free but spaces are limited. There's a campus shuttle that pick up students and takes them up to the main campus and back.

3 College Senior

Parking: The price of a permit is pretty expesive. If you only have two classes a week to go to, it is about 5 dollars per day that you need to park there. That is kind of pricey for a student. Spaces are usually available, but sometimes you find yourself driving around for a few minutes to catch an open spot.

3 College Freshman

Parking: There is definitely a huge need for a car on campus, because most places are not in walking distance. However, the parking is usually full.

2 College Junior

Parking: parking is horrible. The permits are expensive, its extremely difficult to find a spot to park. the campus offers free parking farther away from the classes with a shuttle service to bring us back to campus, and an overflow lot about a black further from classes. spots fill up quickly in free parking.

2 College Freshman

Parking: A single semester permit costs $198, and they sell approximately 3 parking passes per individual parking space. This means that finding parking is near impossible and since the majority of students are commuters it just adds to the issue. On top of that, I have received 2 tickets this semester already: One for having my pass fall off of my mirror onto the dash and it not being "visible" and another for parking in a "visitor" spot that had no markings implying visitors only. Parking is horrible at UCCS.
