3 College Sophomore

Administration: I think they are very nice but strict when needed.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: I have not found out a way to obtain scholarships through the school.

Campus Food: I feel as though Cafe 65 is not the best food. I found myself not eating almost every meal I got from there. I love Jazzman's and Clydes. It's usually really good.

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: Good places nearby to eat. Can even take the shuttle to four diamonds and walk across to many places to eat. Or the metro bus runs near/at the school too. Giving many places to choose from, even with no car.

3 College Junior

Scholarships: Be prepared to possibly submit papers 1-5 times. I don't know what they do with them but I had to submit mine 3 times.

4 College Junior

Campus Housing: I don't live on campus but I have friends that do that really enjoy it.

3 College Junior

Administration: There's not too much campus strictness. Everyone respects campus policies.

3 College Junior

Diversity: There a large diversity here at UCCS. We have national and international transfer students, people of all colors, and people from different socioeconomic backgrounds and beliefs. Everyone respects each other and I haven't heard of any racism or sexism going on here.

3 College Junior

Athletics: Some people seem quite enthusiastic about the athletics here. I think it's okay but I don't involve myself in it.

3 College Junior

Majors: It wasn't hard getting into the Communication program. One problems though is trying to get the classes you need to graduate since they are only open at certain times of the year and can fill up real fast. If new, take the classes that only come up every so often first, if you have the prerequisites for it.

3 College Junior

Majors: I like the Communication program, especially since I'm taking the Digital Filmmaking and Media track. i have meet several people who are great in that type of work from creating music software to video editing to camera work. I am learning so much in this field and will continue to add to my knowledge. The work load may be a bit difficult with film analysis, film projects, and long essays but I enjoy the program.

4 College Student

Off-Campus Dining: Love eating off-campus when I can

3 College Student

Scholarships: I did not receive any of the scholarships that I applied for even after they sent me letters saying they would like to give them to me. Aid is difficult.

3 College Student

Campus Food: Food is good. Wish that we could use our points at Clyde's, though.

4 College Student

Campus Housing: I love living on campus

2 College Freshman

Greek Life: We hear close to nothing about Greek life.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: Every time after I file for FAFSA with a member from financial aid to make sure everything is filled out I still get messages that information is missing and after I send that information in several times they still say it is missing.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: Wouldn't know, I live on campus.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: First year was good, having some issues this year though.

3 College Freshman

Campus Food: The Lodge is disappointing, but so is life-you'll get over it.

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: Very convenient for me to live on campus.

4 College Freshman

Athletics: Good school spirit, good games, and great freebies! Things like free shirts, chipotle (being thrown at you), etc are done during big sports events and people get rowdy. There is no football team but other sports get highlighted like soccer and basketball.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: Different varieties all around the same average price. Off-campus housing is close to the university and there are places to get groceries, eat, etc. all around. There is also an "off-campus" housing option just for students--The Lodges (different from the dining area on campus); it can get a little pricey though.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Panera, Chipotle, Tokyo Joe's, Noodles & Co., etc. what more could you need?

5 College Freshman

Administration: The school is strict where it needs to be and lenient where it needs to be as well! The campus enforces where it needs to be and it's great!!
