If you want a mediocre education surrounded by annoying rich kids, this school is for you! Not only that, but you also get to pay $1600+ to live in a bad apartment in an overpriced city filled with nothing but pretentious millionares! Seriously though, this is not a good school for those who are not white, straight, cis rich kids who like to party. Those who are not involved in the party scene are excluded from the school culture, and if you are not white or straight, you may as well not even exist. The amount of homophobia and ableism I experienced here is staggering, with my POC and LGBT friends going through similar things. None of us are at the school anymore, if that tells you anything. Seriously, do not bother spending your money here. CSU, DU, or CC are much better choices within Colorado for those not in possession of a million plus dollar home.
Lots of classes offered, some great professors and good student life! Lots of fun things to do and good ways to be involved in the school itself and the town. There isn’t much diversity and there is some aspects of housing and transportation that can be hard to manage as a student. Many classes are very informative but some are not worth the time.
Boulder is my favorite place ever and I am so glad I transferred here. Nothing like it in all the nation! Mountains for all the outdoor adventures, party scene, great education, food is phenomenal, and people are kind.
