Tips for Getting In
  • You should plan to visit or research the campus at least a semester ahead of when you plan to attend to avoid last minute issues and have time to gain a better understanding about your future UCO experience.
  • You should visit the Office of Admissions with all of your required admissions paperwork in hand such as an official high school or previous college transcripts, any transfer information, ACT/SAT scores, and a completed online application.
Things I Wish I Knew Before Coming To School
  • How exciting college is once you understand how everything works
  • How helpful UCO campus personnel are with your transition from high school to college
  • How to develop better study habits
  • How to find more ways to get funding for school
  • The number of opportunities available on campus for all students' interests
Interviews & Information Sessions
Students can schedule a visit with an admissions counselor for a faster admissions process. Interested students will need to apply online and pay the application fee before they visit and bring an official high school transcript along with their ACT/SAT scores.

When scheduling a campus tour, students are able to meet with campus faculty and staff related to their program or area of interest, or eat lunch with a UCO student ambassador in Buddy's dining hall.
Campus Tours
Campus tours are scheduled twice a day on weekdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., lasting about 90 minutes each. There are also Saturday campus tours available once a month for more flexibility for visitors and prospective students. The schedules vary each semester.

Campus tours provide a brief, interactive overview of the UCO campus that includes viewing classrooms, campus offices, and resources, along with a housing video. A representative of the tour program will also describe the admissions process, degree programs, and scholarships available at UCO.
