Absolutely Top Notch – The library is amazing! The architecture is breathtaking, but if that isn't enough there are so many books on every subject imaginable; as well as an Einstein Brother's Bagel kiosk just inside that will help get the brain flowing while using the study nooks or student success center. The new Student Recreation Center is also amazing with more great architecture, basketball/volleyball courts, a rock wall, and so much work out equipment I get sore just walking through the door. If that isn't enough though, there are also classrooms in the Recreation center which are used for regular classes such as Zumba, Pilates, and more!

UCMO Atmosphere – Warrensburg has enough to offer for any college student. I am a mother, a wife, and also a full time student at University of Central Missouri. I tranferred to UCM as a non-traditional student about 2 years ago and have loved every minute of it. UCM has a lot of different events for the students, faculty/staff as well as to the public!
Nightlife in Warrensburg is set up nicely for students to go out with their friends, to more than a few places all on one road, and is also in walking distance from the University. If students decide to drink, UCM offers shuttle busses that runs to and from the bars so students do not have to even think of driving back to their dorms.
Downtown Warrensburg is in close walking distance from the University, so shopping for things such as clothes, shoes, books, art supplies, etc. to dining for lunch or dinner is right there close by. Most places offer apartments for a good price above their businesses to rent to college students, which make things even more accessible for students.
We do not have a museum or anything but between what UCM has to offer and our wonderful Community Center/Parks and Recreation, students will never get bored.

This school and the teachers are excellent. The school's professors have worked in the field that they teach and are very interested in their students success if the students proves that they want to achieve success. Career services has helped me a ton with resumes, cover letters, and searching for a work study program. This is a great school and is a great fit for me!
