There are several computer labs on campus, all of which are very accommodating to the students. You shouldn't have a problem finding a computer to use as long as it's not during finals week. During finals week, you may want to go early to hunt out a computer, or bring a laptop from home if you have one.
The library offers a fabulous service that rents out laptops for up to four hours at a time! Of course, you can't leave the library premises with them, but you can set up anywhere in the library and connect wirelessly to the Internet instantly. UCF has a fast wireless connection that would satisfy even the most impatient person. The computers are new and up-to-date, with easy access to all of UCF's programs. It would be nice if printing was free, but the five-cents-per-page fee isn't too bad. You are permitted up to 20 pages of free printing per day at the Student Government Lab, which is helpful and sufficient. Overall, the technology at UCF is good enough to enable students to get the job done. We're no MIT, but UCF is not technologically obsolete by any means.
