Athletics: Good for Now, but in the Process of Building Prestige – When judging a school's athletic program, most look straight to the Football team's recent accomplishments. While UCF is not known for it's prestigious, long life of success (because we have not been established for that long), we are working on building a name and positive reputation for ourselves. We did beat the Univ. of Georgia in the Liberty Bowl two years ago, which was pretty epic. Aside from football, we've got a pretty good baseball and soccer team. I've been substantially involved in Intramural sports, playing everything from my fraternity's soccer and football teams, to winning 2nd place in the semi-annual ultimate frisbee tournament this past spring. I enjoy going to the many sporting events UCF offers; its always a fun environment.

Guys & Girls: Everyone is different, everyone has their place. There is a variety of people with diverse interests, backgrounds and views. There is not really any stereotypical Knight.

5 College Sophomore

Scholarships: Pretty Cut and Dry. You fill out the form online and the rest is done for you. It's best to wait and do it after you do taxes. This makes things a bit easier because you won't have to guess on income. Other then that, just do as the website says and you're golden.

3 College Sophomore

Party Scene: It Is What It Is. I am a fan of beer and not so much the clubs. There are two bars that have a nice laid back atmosphere. That's my thing. If you want something cheaper all you have to do is snoop around a dorm and you will find a party. If you want to brave it, you could always travel downtown. But believe you me, that is quite a drive at 3 in the morning.

4 College Freshman

Majors: I Enjoy It – My major (Biomedical/ Micro Molecular Sciences) here at UCF is pretty lengthy and hard. Already in the first two semesters I have had about 15 of my friends change from my major to another one simply because they think it is challenging. I however wouldn't change it. I feel like the major prepares me for what's to come if I continue with my career goals. I would ultimately want to go to Medical School and then go on to become a Pediatric Surgeon. I don't have any concerns now regarding possible job opportunities in the future

4 College Junior

Campus Quality: If I were to describe the facilities at UCF, I would have to give them an A-. One thing you can count on at UCF is for continued improvement on the buildings and recreational areas on the property. With these improvements, one can be gone for a summer, come back, and find that areas (like the library, computer labs, and student union) are more high tech with computers and other media devices, creating a more engaging environment. The only downfall with the ongoing improvement process, is that there are the usual signs of construction present on the property, but overall, it doesn't hinder on the learning experience.

5 College Junior

Majors: My View of the B.S.B.A Program. The only regret I have is that I didn't find it sooner! My first 2 years at UCF were spent moving towards a degree in Biology which, though rewarding, did not stimulate my interests as much as I would have wished. After starting the Business Administration major I found that my college experience was transformed and became more highly engaging. It is diverse both in its delivery (lecture vs. online streaming), and in its following. I have never met so many different kinds of people with so many different aspirations and goals. It is refreshing to say the least. Overall, I couldn't be happier with the major that I have chosen.

3 College Junior

Scholarships: At UCF there is an abundance of scholarships available to students who are eager enough to check them out. There seems to be many diverse options available to choose from, and all are fairly simple to apply for (given that all the admission criteria are met). It is this fact that I feel that the overall financial aid process deserves close to an A. The only thing that keeps me from placing it at an A is due to a lack of flow of information. It seems that one can apply diligently for many scholarships and not receive word back at all regarding the status. Again, the program is great, but there is always room for improvement.

4 College Junior

Academics: Business Administration and Management Review. This particular major houses enormous potential for diverse experiences, learning styles, and growth. With the use of face to face and online classes, it makes it easier to maintain the balance between ones work, and school life. In addition, there are many opportunities to engage in classes where the bulk of experience lies outside the classroom such as the Cornerstone experience. With my previous major being Biology, I found that the B.S.B.A major is consistently evolving and engaging. Through this, I feel that it deserves an A in virtually every category. As for the additional +, I feel that there is always room for growth and improvement, despite the dynamic state that it is in now. Overall, it is an extremely exciting experience with an opportunity to increase human relationships drastically due to an increase in interpersonal skills acquired through the program.

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: From What I've Seen and Heard – Personally I am not living on campus as of now but I do have many friends who live at the University. From what I have seen when I go to their dorms and from what they tell me: Most of them like the living situation and they feel safe. A big complain is that they should have a bit more room. Even if it's just storage room for their clothes.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I've been at UCF only two semesters and I love it. This university is definitely a great school with both, a great academic and social scene. If you are bored at UCF, its because you aren't doing enough to get involved. The university provides a ton of extra curricular activities in which one can get involved to meet more people and make the college experience much more fun.

4 College Freshman

Greek Life: Variety Describes It All – There are many greeks at UCF and you definitely see all of the hard work and effort these people put into their community. Greek organizations are always raising awareness and funds for good causes. They are also required to maintain good grades so they are pushed to excellence in both an academic and social aspect. At UCF, the greeks demonstrate that there is more to being in a fraternity or a sorority than just parties.

5 College Freshman

Campus Quality: The campus facilities are kept in tip-top shape! They're so modern and equipped with all of the latest technology that a student needs to be successful in whatever he or she desires.

5 College Sophomore

Campus Quality: The cost of the school gym, and transportation are incorporated into tuition cost. The usual have free events at school like, skate parties, tutoring, other events that go along with holidays, also companies coming to give out free samples.

5 College Sophomore

Transportation: there are free shuttles that pick students up from apartments that are near the school and take the students back and forth to school for no additional cost.

3 College Sophomore

Academics: The registration process could be better, everyone is given an appointment time to register for classes and can not do anything about it until that exact time comes up to register for the classes. The staff at UCF are very nice and knowledgeable, most of the professors are good. The work load is not too bad, but it also depends on your major.

3 College Sophomore

Parking: the parking at UCF is not too bad I also manage to find parking if I leave about an addition ten minutes for class, I also park a little closer to my college, being that I am a junior all of my classes are in that bldg. so I don't have to do any additional traveling.

4 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: Judgement Aside – One of the main reasons I choose UCF was I felt like the people are more "real" here as in guys and girls don't openly care about what brands you have or what you look like. The interests are too many to name, but there is someone who shares the same likes/ideas which is great.

4 College Sophomore

Weather: No Problem Here – Not sure how to interpret question. My grade of an A+ was in relation to how the weather does NOT affect campus experience. Much of it is outdoors but the weather in Orlando is so nice the majority of the time, rarely do you have to reschedule. Plan for heat and you will be in good shape

4 College Sophomore

Campus Food: Cost Effective – I'm frugal but when I am in need of a meal, campus dining does not disappoint. Primarily because of the quality of food served at the all-you-can-eat locations. For 8 dollars, one can be filled with a decent level of food. Only thing keeping them from a higher grade is because of the weekends when it seems that they only serve 8 year old meatloaf, I don't get understand what happens.

2 College Sophomore

Scholarships: Not Yet Offered – I haven not yet been offered any type of finacial aid

3 College Sophomore

Technology: Great Options – The library has plenty of computers. They only get busy during the first and last couple of weeks of school. In addition, the new computer addition in the Technology Commons has a great variety of computers.

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: UCF IS VERY HELPFUL THE TEQACHERS AND STUNDENT BODY IS VERY GOOD THE SPIRIT IS HIGH

5 College Sophomore

Diversity: FREINDLY WHITE PEOPLE – THERE ARE LOTS OF WHITE PEOPLE BUT THEY ARE FREINDLY

3 College Sophomore

Party Scene: AMPLE AMOUNT OF CLUBS AND TRANSPORTATION – DONT GO OUT THAT MUCH BUT NIGHT LIFE AND CLUBS ARE SUFFICIENT IF I CHOOSE TO DO SO

UCF is growing by leaps and bounds. The students love to hang out, and they all know how to have a good time. There’s so much to do and there’s something for everyone. Do you really need any more reasons to go to college in Florida?

Orlando is an exciting city with tons of attractions and activities available to all. In many ways, going to school at UCF resembles a four-year vacation (Disney on Sunday, classes on Monday!). Downtown Orlando on a Friday night can, at times, seem like Mardi Gras, and City Walk on a Saturday night isn’t to be missed. Also, Floridians are welcoming and friendly and most students at UCF make friends quickly and easily. Friendly faces and sunny skies, what more could a college student ask for? The stellar academics, up-and-coming sports teams, and state-of-the-art facilities are reason enough to spend the next four years of your life at UCF; the city of Orlando is just one big fringe benefit.
