Parking: Generally Ok – If you live on campus or close to campus you really don't need a car as the actual campus is very small and easy to get around. If you do drive to campus you may have to park on the top level of the parking garages but you should always be able to find something at least.

Campus Food: Fairly Large Selection Both on Campus and Nearby – There are two university affiliated dining halls that do provide decent food, but the cost of the meal plans is much to high in my opinion. There are several restraunt chains on campus such as subway, chic-fil-a and others if you want something a bit more "fancy" than the dining halls and it's usually about the same price. But by far the best option is always buying and making your own food.

5 College Freshman

Diversity: So Diverse – The school is so large and you can find any community you like :)
Here is so social

Off-Campus Housing: Prices Are Too High – They are too old and the ones which are new are too expensive. For married people the options are limited and the prices comparing to the age of buildings and facilities are too high.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Not Close Enough – The restaurant near the campus are not that much close and this is because the campus is too big. The restaurants are good but they are not that much cheap that students could afford.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: As one of the largest school in the country sometimes it can get a little crowded. The dinning on campus is not great but it does have a few options. The class sizes for incoming students are relatively large. Overall its not awesome but its not terrible either, it is just average.

4 College Junior

Health & Safety: I have never felt in danger and nothing has happened to me to date. I also have not heard from anyone being in danger or not feeling safe on campus. Overall I feel like it is a safe campus.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Good Opportunities – I have found good opportunities to study and team work. I like the atmosphere here.

4 College Junior

Weather: in general I like the weather here. Just in July and August it is too hot

4 College Junior

Party Scene: Clubs Are Ok – Clubs around UCF are Ok. however there are more suitable for undergrad students.

3 College Junior

Parking: low permit costs, but always hard to find a parking

4 College Junior

Athletics: The biggest programs at our school are football and basketball. Students always get free into the games and football tailgates at Memory Mall are unforgetable. The school has great spirit and always cheers on our team. Our athletic department is up and coming and each year we are breaking barriers. We also have Intramural sports to play as a rec league. Some of the sports include: basketball, hockey, tennis, flag football, volleyball, ping pong, water polo, swimming, frisbee, and golf

Off-Campus Dining: I absolutely love off-campus dining around UCF. There are so many places that are great for students and UCF friendly. A lot of restuarants give you a student discount if you bring your student ID which is a plus. There are pizza places, wings, sports bars, sushi, subs, hibachi, wraps, smoothies, chinese, and italain restaurants and take out places all within 5 minutes of the campus. Any type of food you want you can find in 5 minutes. Most places are very reasonably priced and they disperse coupons regularly. My friends and I have about 5 or 6 usual spots we have been going to since we were freshman.

Local Area: Soooo Much Stuff – Orlando is truly a college town. There is SO much to do here whether you want to hit up the club and party or just take a trip back down memory lane to your childhood at Disney World. Orlando has it ALL.

4 College Junior

Technology: Fast and Easy – The computers at our school are pretty fast and printing is easy.

4 College Junior

Diversity: There seems to be activities and informative sessions for all beliefs, orientations, political affiliations, and ethnicities quite frequently ont he UCF campus. It is quite pleasant to attend a school that embraces such diversity.

Campus Food: Dining Options on Campus – The majority of on-campus food options are almost exclusively corporate fast food chains, and most are way too pricey for what it is. However the student union does have a delightful Middle Eastern delicatessen serving gyros, tabuleh, and hummus. However, I have never tried the Knightros cafeterias.

3 College Junior

Campus Quality: The wellness center is one of the nicest athletic facilities I have ever seen. The main campus library has not only a plethora of excellent reference materials and books, but good multimedia resources also. Tuition went up 15% this past fall, yet all of the sliding desk pads that are stored between the seats in the main math building auditorium are broken or in need of serious repair. However, the landscaping is always in a superior condition and always a full staff maintaining it every single weekday. The student union is a real treat at UCF. There are always engaging activities, free exam scantrons (one free scantron per day), and places to sit and relax, socialize or study.

College Sophomore

Greek Life: I Don't Know – I see a lot of Greek life around but I couldn't really say how it is.

3 College Sophomore

Party Scene: It Is Great – There is a variety of bars/clubs to choose from and there are always parties to be found

2 College Junior

Campus Food: Dining Halls – I think UCF could use a lot of work when it comes the the dinning halls. There are only two located on campus and with the amount of students there are I feel as though there should be more. I had a meal plan during my freshman year, but after that I would never want one again. The menu is very repetitive and gets old after a while.

4 College Junior

Academics: Popular Study Areas – UCF does a great job during midterm and finals weeks, by converting the student union into a place for studying. They give out free food at midnight and categorize each floor by different studying types, first floor for group studying and third floor for quite studying, ect. They also offer review sessions for many of the general education classes which are very helpful.

3 College Sophomore

Transportation: Convenient and Cheap – Shuttles are abundant as well as other possible options

4 College Sophomore

Parking: Strict Yet Readily Available – Enforcement on parking and subsequent violations is strict, yet there is a very open transportation system that feasible for nearly every student.

College Sophomore

Campus Housing: I have not lived on campus and therefore cannot give a proper review of on-campus housing.

UCF is growing by leaps and bounds. The students love to hang out, and they all know how to have a good time. There’s so much to do and there’s something for everyone. Do you really need any more reasons to go to college in Florida?

Orlando is an exciting city with tons of attractions and activities available to all. In many ways, going to school at UCF resembles a four-year vacation (Disney on Sunday, classes on Monday!). Downtown Orlando on a Friday night can, at times, seem like Mardi Gras, and City Walk on a Saturday night isn’t to be missed. Also, Floridians are welcoming and friendly and most students at UCF make friends quickly and easily. Friendly faces and sunny skies, what more could a college student ask for? The stellar academics, up-and-coming sports teams, and state-of-the-art facilities are reason enough to spend the next four years of your life at UCF; the city of Orlando is just one big fringe benefit. Come join us!
