Transportation: The Same Wherever You Go – It is true that there are many buses taking students to many different places, so for that reason, the Transportation system at UCF gets an A. However, there is only one or two buses total going to some apartment complexes and only one or two going downtown or other places in Orlando. For that, UCF gets a C. So in total, UCF receives a B when you put them together.

Academics: Doesn't Exist – This grade, at least as far as the religious studies program doesn't exist. It is not there simply because the Board of Directors probably thinks nothing is perfect. I agree with them, that things can be improved on. It is just sad that in high school A+'s were something to be proud of, but now are shunned from collegiate success.

Campus Quality: UCF does a great job of maintaining the campus grounds and facilities.

4 College Junior

Technology: Most computers on campus are updated regularly and run the latest operating systems, software, etc.

4 College Junior

Campus Quality: Clean and Sanitary – I generally enjoy the campus of UCF. Most restrooms are usually clean and most things are generally functional.

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: The first year advisors are always willing to help it is comforting to know they have your best interest

5 College Freshman

Parking: The parking garages always have lit up signs to tell if there is space!

Majors: I Don't Regret Anything – My career goals is to be a track coach that teaches some classes at the university. Public administration allows me to know the government as well as the buisness world. I am not worried about finding a job because I know I work harder than anyone. As long as you do that consistently and be persistent then there are tons of opportunities for you.

3 College Junior

Majors: I am new but I think it wil be great. My program hopefully will combine my love for government and my love of public work.

3 College Junior

Majors: It Was Ok – They were relatively helpful. The only problems that I had was that I ended school in June instead of May and now signing up for classes all of the ones that I need are full.

Weather: Being in the middle of Florida, it is no surprise that the weather at UCF can be very enjoyable. However, one must remember that being surrounded by water, along with the hot climate, can bring about the many showers that fall upon the university.

Guys & Girls: UCF's Orlando campus is huge. There are all different types of guys and girls there. There's quite a variety. Different ethnicities, religions, perspectives and personalities cover the campus. The guys range from the city boys to the country boys, you'll find the military guys mixed in with the fraternity guys and the international guys chilling with the sports guys. The girls follow the same principle. Every type, every size, style, and personality. Seriously UCF has it all when it comes to the guys and girls!

Scholarships: More were available at the community college, and the person in charge there tried more to help me get them.

5 College Junior

Health & Safety: Very Secure – Despite UCF's campus being so large, I've never felt unsafe on campus, regardless of the time of day. All of the staff are friendly and security is always in view, and my apartment has multiple features to ensure the safety of students even across the street from the campus.

Majors: CO-OP Experience. It is real work place with rather low pay part job.

you do need to balance btw school and job.

3 College Senior

Majors: Digital Media – the Course and classes are very informative and great.

However, basic guideline and advising need to be improved.
Not only me, but a lot of students are confused

4 College Junior

Athletics: Good but Not Incredible – UCF has had its fair share of students that have become stars beyond campus. Would I say it was because of their athletics at UCF?? Probably not. The facility does have a lot of open spaces for practices and great gyms but it's not as competitive I'd say as other schools.

5 College Junior

Campus Food: Better Then Most Schools – The dining hall tends to taste like repetitive cafeteria food but you do have different options (chinese, burgers, pasta etc). There's also Sbarro, Chik fa Lay, Subway etc on campus so there really isn't an excuse for picky-ness. It's all grungy college food anyway!

3 College Junior

Party Scene: Skip the Sorority/Frat Drama – The UCF nightlife tends to be for the 20&under age range. If you're looking to have a good time but not wind up behind bars I vote skip the brain dead frat drama and go to a bar/club. Cover is super cheap if any and there's always dirt cheap drink specials if you're 21&over of course. It broadens your social life since you get to meet locals and other neighboring students and you don't have to be judged like when you first walk into a house party.

4 College Junior

Guys & Girls: The guys you'll find tend to be more on the geeky side. Usually super social or the complete opposite of zero personality like talking to a rock. The girls are mostly preppy but could use a decent amount of help and an updated wardrobe. Campus life tends to be artsy or sorority life and most kids don't go to the UCF bars they go downtown. You don't see too many relationships unless they're carried over from high school which we all know how those usually turn out!

Campus Quality: I would describe Central Florida as very unique. During homecoming week we all participate in a huge school tradition that has not really been seen at any other campus. All the students gather around our large pool/ fountain and run in simultaneously. The students then try their hardest to recieve one of the unique ducks that are given out every year. Along with the fun is the unique majors. I am a forensic science major and this school is ranked 2nd in the country for this major. From prior research I've learned the activities that coincide with this major are remarkable, such as a hands on learning experience with excavating pigs.

Campus Quality: A Plethora of Activities and Events – The University of Central Florida has so much to offer. The student center is at the heart of the campus and always promises a good day. As a student walks to class he or she can visit many of the varius booths outside advertising something unique about the school, as well as recieve free gifts. The student center is also a great place to study. The building has several levels and study places as well as a myriad of food options. In addition, my favorite amenity is the awesome recreation and wellness center. This building, also known as the gym, has over one hundred tred mills as well as countless work out machines. It also contains a huge rock climbing wall that looks beautiful at night whent the campus is lit up. The gym also offers varius work out classes such as ab work outs, zumba and yoga classes.

2 College Sophomore

Parking: Trying to park on campus is either a "hit or miss" thing. Depending on the time of a person's classes, the parking spaces vary. My freshman year i stayed in a dorm on campus and never had a problem finding a parking space. However, as the day goes on parking becomes more limited. Chances of finding a parking spot are possible, however, it may take a great deal of search and sieze until the mission is accomplished.

2 College Freshman

Parking: You have to be one of the first on campus, arrive before 10AM, just to get close enough to the sidewalk.

3 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: The Crowd! Everybody is very unique with their style but no matter how casual, everybody looks really good and comfortable in their skin.

UCF is growing by leaps and bounds. The students love to hang out, and they all know how to have a good time. There’s so much to do and there’s something for everyone. Do you really need any more reasons to go to college in Florida?

Orlando is an exciting city with tons of attractions and activities available to all. In many ways, going to school at UCF resembles a four-year vacation (Disney on Sunday, classes on Monday!). Downtown Orlando on a Friday night can, at times, seem like Mardi Gras, and City Walk on a Saturday night isn’t to be missed. Also, Floridians are welcoming and friendly and most students at UCF make friends quickly and easily. Friendly faces and sunny skies, what more could a college student ask for? The stellar academics, up-and-coming sports teams, and state-of-the-art facilities are reason enough to spend the next four years of your life at UCF; the city of Orlando is just one big fringe benefit. Come join us!
