Off-Campus Housing: Off-campus housing is great, from what I have seen. There are plenty of options for each and every students' needs, with expensive and inexpensive, fancy and simple. Some are close and some are far. There is an apartment for everyone, and all are safe.

2 College Sophomore

Administration: Campus strictness is very all over the place, it is neither consistently strict nor consistently lenient. It appears to run on a case by case basis, with some extreme cases let off very easily, or the opposite occurring. Cheating is regularly punished, but underage drinking is caught and controlled sporadically.

4 College Sophomore

Athletics: The athletics are absolutely fantastic. Football is our biggest, and we have recently moved up a conference into what was the Big East, after becoming Conference USA champions just this past year. Our workout facilities are designed to benefit student athletes and general students alike, as well as cater to IM sports. As we compete in a wide range of sports, there is almost always an event to go to!

4 College Sophomore

Weather: The weather is lovely all year round! No snow, very rare harsh weather, and the occasional refreshing afternoon rain shower in the warmer months. Even in winter it's not too cold, and students are almost always outside!

4 College Sophomore

Academics: They know how to separate the people who don't care from the people who do.

3 College Sophomore

Party Scene: They provide a lot of clubs and parties for students but a lot does end pretty early.

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: They certainly do care about the football team because that's all I hear about but i know that other teams are appreciated which is also cool.

2 College Sophomore

Weather: the school is one big open circle and if the union is closed, you're stuck in whatever weather it is

Diversity: There are different cultures here in campus and everyone is accepted by it. There is nothing wrong with the student body or a person's ethnic backgrounds towards other students. Everyone gets along great and we expand diversity here at UCF.

5 College Senior

Majors: I am excited with my program at UCF because I was able to learn more about adolescence and children and education that I never learned before. I'm also able to learn a lot of math which is easy for me because math is my favorite and best subject to take. My career goals is to complete a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics Education and work full-time at a middle school and part-time as an adjunct professor in college.

4 College Senior

Majors: It feels great to know you can meet the same people with similar majors like yourself. I enjoy y professors and my classmates because my professors are easy to understand and it's great to work with other classmates and interact with one another.

5 College Senior

Majors: A typical internship will be a student teacher or Leader. I am currently a Supplemental Learning Leader at a college and it gives me a lot of experience on education. There is a pay every other week since it is like being a tutor, but with more benefits. I have to come prepared to help students and make sure that they have the study skills necessary to pass the course. My other responsibilities are coming up with my own hours and making SL sessions for the students to come to me for help.

3 College Senior

Majors: The process of getting into my Mathematics Education major was simple. Although Education majors are not as restricted as other majors, there were specific guidelines to follow in order to graduate and earn your degree. There are three tests to complete, and they don't come very cheap. Each test helps you get closer to your major. I had a little problem completing one of the test that was a step into getting out of "Pending major" status because of the cost of the test and the time to take it. Now that I have taken it, the only courses I have are just mathematics courses and education courses.

3 College Junior

Scholarships: I am really having a hard time finding financial aid and scholarships. I have an extremely high GPA, so one wouldn't think it would be that difficult to find schlolarships that I qualify for.

Off-Campus Dining: There are some great options near campus for cheap dining. Student discounts are plentiful.

Drug Safety: I am taking online classes only do I don't really know what the on campus scene looks like

Off-Campus Dining: Regular food. Chipotle is close by and it is good. The Chinese restaurants nearby are also good.

5 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: On campus housing is terrible. Off-campus it is easy to find exponentially cheap houses in which you can stay with your friends at almost half the price it is to stay in dorms.

5 College Sophomore

Party Scene: There are tons of clubs around the UCF area and they are in very close proximity. But UCF also offers an event every Friday called Late Knights which is the non-drinking alternative for all students and they do a pretty amazing job making it something students would actually want to go to.

3 College Sophomore

Parking: Parking can definitely be a nightmare. There are places to park but sometimes it isn't very close to the class you are going to. Parking for dorms is pretty good though. UCF also has a great bus system that can be very helpful for students that live off campus.

3 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: There are rarely any busts with drugs on campus. There is a club that promotes the legalization of weed but it is school approved and there is no pressure to agree with their views. There are very strict rules about drug usage and people who do get in trouble don't stick around for too long.

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: UCF athletics is becoming a larger aspect as teams win more games.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Food: There is a large variety of restaurants in the Student Union. These include Sbarro's, Burger King, Subway, Huey Magoo's, Wackadoo's, Asian Chao, and Corner Cafe. The prices are the same as those found outside the campus.

4 College Senior

Diversity: Predominantly attributed to the absurd number of bodies existing at UCF, there is an impressive array of different people here. The majority of the student body is white, but that's only what I see on campus. There are a surprising amount of culture clubs, LGBT organizations, and political groups scattered throughout UCF. Considering we're the second largest school in the nation, I am not at all surprised at how easily one can find someone unique.

5 College Senior

Local Area: Beaches, amusement parks, clubs, sporting events, musical events, movies, festivals, and more! Orlando has everything. The school spirit here is impressive, but not overbearing. There are so many UCF students/graduates in town, it's hard not to find some people in town up for a good time. Although the population's culture doesn't vary nearly as much as Miami's, the people here are ridiculously kind and accepting. Oh, and did I mention EDC Orlando?

UCF is growing by leaps and bounds. The students love to hang out, and they all know how to have a good time. There’s so much to do and there’s something for everyone. Do you really need any more reasons to go to college in Florida?

Orlando is an exciting city with tons of attractions and activities available to all. In many ways, going to school at UCF resembles a four-year vacation (Disney on Sunday, classes on Monday!). Downtown Orlando on a Friday night can, at times, seem like Mardi Gras, and City Walk on a Saturday night isn’t to be missed. Also, Floridians are welcoming and friendly and most students at UCF make friends quickly and easily. Friendly faces and sunny skies, what more could a college student ask for? The stellar academics, up-and-coming sports teams, and state-of-the-art facilities are reason enough to spend the next four years of your life at UCF; the city of Orlando is just one big fringe benefit. Come join us!
