4 College Freshman

Academics: As a Freshman, i have not had a lot of experience with some of the aspects of the industrial engineering major program. But i do know that the classes are small which is alway good to be hands on and have a great relationship with the professors. Plus they have a reallly good advising program and chapter club for IIE so many students get internships and have job oppertunities when the graduate

College Junior

Guys & Girls: There are all kinds at UCF. Everyone is attractive to someone. I need to add I am not there to look at the other students.

5 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: All the off-campus dining is awesome in all aspects! They are inexpensive especially since college stack always gives away coupon books so that we college students can save money.

5 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: Off-campus dining is great! There are so many places around campus and all through-out the Orlando Area!

3 College Junior

Transportation: Transportation is ok, and parking is a nightmare, unless you head to the back of campus and park in D or C.

4 College Sophomore

Technology: When I go to the computer lab I can almost count on having a great computer in front of me. They actually have a few Macs and a lot of new PCs. Printing is very accessible, and you can even print wireless. Network speed is moderate and pretty reliable too.

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: There are a lot of sport options at UCF, but the school is only beginning to get them known recently. However, fan support is moderate considering that most sport programs are new.

4 College Junior

Campus Housing: The dorm rooms are small but convenient for getting to classes on time due to the close proximity to my dorm.

3 College Junior

Greek Life: The Greek life at UCF is pretty fun and active. I have never personally attended one, but I have been told.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: The off-campus housing selection is not that bad. There are many places where you can choose from, however, not all cost the same. The prices do vary.

4 College Junior

Technology: The computer labs at UCF are a little crowded at times, especially during finals, but you can always manage to find an opening. Also, the WiFi is very good here, works fast, and never gives me a problem.

3 College Junior

Technology: There are computers and labs for students to use, and most students have and bring their own laptops. The wireless network is a little annoying since it will randomly kick you off but other than that it is tolerable. You don't need to own a computer, but probably for your classes you would need to plan out extra time on campus to use their computers.

College Junior

Greek Life: I really don't see much of Greek Life, nor have I attended any frat or sorority parties.

5 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: There are many attractive guys that I have seen on campus. There are people with a great fashion sense and I have found it quite easy to make friends. The people on campus are very friendly and always seem to have a smile on their face.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: There are no traditional style dorms, only suite-style residence halls in which there are two bedrooms and 1 bathroom shared by 4 people, and apartment style living. Some of the residence halls are old, but there are a lot of new ones that are very nice. Unfortunately, the nicest ones require a full year contract instead of an academic (fall/spring) contract. Some people compare the Nike/Hercules Apartments and Residence Halls to hotels.

Weather: the weather is nice almost all the year and its very rare to cancel the classes here.

4 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: The best thing about going to a University as big as UCF is the diversity! There is a good mix of everyone here;you're bound to have your eye on at least 1 person when coming here. There are so many different nationalities and groups of people.

Health & Safety: You will always see some means of security all around campus. We also have emergency buttons which are placed throughout which notifies police right away about your location. I feel very safe on campus but it's always a good idea to utilize the buddy system, especially at night.

5 College Senior

Off-Campus Housing: There is housing all around UCF that is affordable and they are very open to questions. Lots of parking, and it feels really safe. There is always somewhere to live.

3 College Senior

Greek Life: There are many sororities and fraternities to join for anyone that is out there. It is rather expensive, but it is a way to be part of a group.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: There are tons of places to live off campus and they are all fairly close to the campus. The only problem is that some of them are pricy at times and they tend to fill up.

5 College Freshman

Majors: As a hospitality major I love the program I am in.

4 College Freshman

Majors: I'm in the Hospitality Rosen College and it is very nice. Orlando is one of the best areas to be a Hospitality major and UCF allows their students to have many different opportunities to work with the amazing companies near by. All the instructors are very nice and fair. They school also gives the students many opportunities to network which is key to this industry.

Local Area: UCF is located in a poor looking area. Staying on the main roads is the smart thing to do. Shootings and robberies happen in areas around the school. Other than that, there is a lot to do! You have Disney only 30 minutes away, tons of restaurants, and a lot of fun other activities!

4 College Junior

Diversity: Lots of diversity - great enviorment to learn about different cultures

UCF is growing by leaps and bounds. The students love to hang out, and they all know how to have a good time. There’s so much to do and there’s something for everyone. Do you really need any more reasons to go to college in Florida?

Orlando is an exciting city with tons of attractions and activities available to all. In many ways, going to school at UCF resembles a four-year vacation (Disney on Sunday, classes on Monday!). Downtown Orlando on a Friday night can, at times, seem like Mardi Gras, and City Walk on a Saturday night isn’t to be missed. Also, Floridians are welcoming and friendly and most students at UCF make friends quickly and easily. Friendly faces and sunny skies, what more could a college student ask for? The stellar academics, up-and-coming sports teams, and state-of-the-art facilities are reason enough to spend the next four years of your life at UCF; the city of Orlando is just one big fringe benefit. Come join us!
