Scholarships: Short and simple, once I completed the FAFSA I never had many issues with Financial Aid. The Bruin Blue and Gold plan is an amazing program and guarantees your financial aid for 4 years, so this has helped significantly.

Scholarships: I would say its between okay and bad because even though I am getting by, the amount I still have to pay is ridiculous and there are scholarship, but most of them are too specific or if your in the middle class family range then you don't qualify. It's an on going process.

Scholarships: Financial aid favors in state students, so being out of state, it's difficult to get aid.

Scholarships: It was easy to fill out the FAFSA and receive financial aid. They sent me an email when my financial aid notice was up, I had time to decide what to accept, and it was always easy to contact someone if I had any questions

Scholarships: The financial aid process is easy enough, but it is so difficult to qualify for scholarships and grants (in other words, "free" money). So instead I am now $50,000 in debt from loans.
