Guys & Girls: If you're into fobby or ratchet asian girls, look no further. Otherwise, there are many kinds of girls, you just have to search them out. Same goes for guys.

Guys & Girls: Girls at our school are pretty stylish I would say. You have your lazy girls with yoga pants, leggings, and oversized sweaters; then you have the hipster, Brandy-Mel girls; Athletic girls who wear nikes all the time; idk there's more but yeah the girls seem like they know what they're doing when they dress up for class.

Guys at our school are okay. You have the athletic guys who wear nikes and adidas to class; pretty boys who wear suits to class (they;re probably rushing for a frat); Skater dudes with the old skool vans, chill laid back dudes who keep it nice and simple; super swaggy corny dudes.

Guys & Girls: Looking around, you see 70% Asian. Some are OC Asians, some are international students. The rest seems to be Persian. People at UCI do not generally care about fashion unless they are a wealthy international student boasting an expensive brand name item. People here don't prioritize their appearance, nor do they ever get judged for it.

Guys & Girls: very casual, but some international students wear luxury brands. People are outgoing.

If you called the UCI student body the “ethnic tossed salad” in the meal of attraction, not everyone would want to take a bite. This is probably due to the lack of variety within the student body. Students still give their peers overall warm reviews of being worth a second glance or two; students who aren’t usually attracted to people of the “Asian Persuasion” find themselves double glancing, too. Some girls would say that the Asian guys here are mostly viewed as the strong, silent type, while the Caucasian guys are generally thought to be of the surfer or skater style.

Luckily for the guys, students generally agree that the girls at UCI are hotter, on average, than the guys. Many guys here are labeled “Irvine Cute,” meaning that they are considered good looking because they go to UCI, but if they went to another school in the So Cal area, then they would be considered middle of the pack or maybe even lower. For the gals, this generally means that they’re probably going to actually have to look for love that’s beyond skin deep—which, as ghastly as that might seem from a Southern Californian’s point of view, isn’t all that difficult.

Social Scene
Social scene? What social scene? Just kidding. Well, sort of. Since UCI does consist of over 20,000 students, the large size cracks down on having one main social caste system, which is definitely a good thing. The high commuter population also dampens student night activities on campus, since most commuters abandon campus like bats out of hell as soon as class ends to beat rush hour traffic. Yet, if commuters are willing to stick around campus a few extra hours, then there is definitely no shortage of things to do. Party-goers should be happy to know that there is still a social scene beneath the mild suburban setting of UCI. Although most parties are with the fraternities and sororities on campus, there are parties that are open to the public. Bookish types won't have much trouble finding kindred spirits in classes, either, so long as they actually remember to speak to them. For the latter group, there is always a plethora of film festivals and poetry readings to keep their eager minds stimulated while on a social outing.
Hookups or Relationships?
Hooking up at UCI, albeit a studious campus all around, is a lot easier than it seems. Hormones circulate the ventilation system of the lecture halls in this perpetually sunny and spring-like campus. Although one-night stands are not unheard of, most campus relationships are long-term, or at least headed in that direction.
Best Places to Meet Guys/Girls
If you're looking for love, all the right places include class discussions and club activities, or even the ARC, where the student class sizes are actually small enough to have social interaction with others. Most hookups tend to be relationship-bound, and one-night stands are rare occurrences for the heavily conservative student population in the OC.
Dress Code
There's a range when it comes to the dress code at UCI. Many of the girls walking on campus keep with the trendy and stylish fashions of the season, while others are more low-key and stay casual with jeans and hoodies. The same goes for the guys, but their efforts usually go unnoticed as most eyes are on the ladies on campus.
