I have attended several colleges, due to military service, many of these were on-line. The ones that I attended on campus were not all bad except for UALR, problem was probably me and not the school. I just know i was miserable there. I have to admit to being reluctant to attending UAPB due to Pine Bluffs crime rate and also because I am a minority there, first time for everything. The Staff in each of the offices of been extremely helpful. I have to give top rating to the Veterans and Disability office, they went out of there way to meet each of my special needs since I was medically retired due to brain injuries and other issues that seemed to follow me home.
The Professors that I have had so far are amazing! They really will go out of their way on their personal time to help you with any issues.

One of the greatest experience I've had, at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff is, Lion Fever Day!

What makes MY HBCU unique? How much pride we has for Dear Mother! One thing I can say is that the students at UAPB love their HBCU, and we will forever and always bleed BLACK and GOLD!

If I could do it all over again, I would most definitely choose UAPB. I love being a Golden Lion, and I can honestly say that my experience is one to remember!

I love my HBCU. They have plenty of opportunities for students to pursue their major. What makes my school unique is the fact that everyone there is considered family. I would definitely choose my school over again from the events to the academic opportunities, UAPB is the best!
