Little Rock has a lot to offer—there are historic sites, art galleries, and a library, as well as plenty of opportunities for students to enhance their social lives when class is not in session. Park Plaza Mall is a great place to head if you’re looking for a taste of the outside world. The mall is right down the street from the school, so it's convenient and gives students the chance to upgrade their wardrobes or get some food they don't normally consume. Downtown Little Rock is also great place for students to go and explore. If you’d like to get off campus for a bite to eat, restaurants like Genghis Grill and Chili's are great spots where students can get to know each other over a good meal.

For students who like to volunteer, there are plenty of non-profit organizations here that are always looking for volunteers. For example, if you want to help eliminate illiteracy, volunteer with the Literacy Action of Central Arkansas located in the downtown library or volunteer with Heifer International to help eradicate world hunger. Overall, Little Rock offers lots of places to explore if you students are up for the challenge.
