The University of Alabama has a beautiful campus. There are always fun events and social activities to participate in. I am currently in my freshman year at the school, and so far it has been nothing but amazing. I live in the dorms and walk to all my classes. I am in Greek life and joined informally in the second semester. Not only have I made friends from just going to class but also going to lunch at the dining hall, and where I live. If you don't like parties and going out, there is plenty for you to still do. Many organizations and events have activities where you don't drink or party and you just meet new people and get connected socially. I love going out with my friends and also going to campus events. The campus is very walkable and safe during all parts of the day, but still walk with a friend or buddy to ease your parents' minds. Once you visit the campus there is no going back or going to another school!

The school spirit, especially during events like football games, has been a highlight of my time here. The sense of unity and shared pride in our school creates a vibrant and uplifting atmosphere. Additionally, the range of academic opportunities has played a crucial role in my educational journey. The diverse courses and programs offered have allowed me to explore various interests and gain a well-rounded education.One notable aspect is the remarkable growth of the campus over the past four years. Witnessing this expansion has been exciting, and it reflects a commitment to providing students with an enriching environment. Roll Tide!

The thought of attending college felt intimidating at first, but as soon as I stepped foot on campus, any hesitations that I had were gone. Though I had visited the campus before, it felt different on the day that I moved into my dorm. I was living with a high school friend, which, in hindsight, probably made the transition easier, but that move-in, itself, still felt much heavier than I had expected. Once we finished unpacking, I said good-bye to my parents and took it all in. My roommate and I decided to walk around the campus, and within minutes, we started talking to others and our small circle started to grow. Many of those new faces have become great friends. I have found people with common interests and goals, and we have motivated each other both in and out of the classroom. The campus that I once thought was so big quickly become smaller and more comfortable. I have gotten to know my professors, whose guidance has become invaluable. I could not have ended up at a better place.
