Local Area: There is a lot to do downtown. It's an urban area with a fair amount of new development. There are several parks and attractions as well as shopping nearby.

Local Area: There is definitely plenty to do since Birmingham is a bustling city. There's plenty of restaurants, shopping malls, and clubs to keep just about anyone entertained.

Local Area: They got rid of football which sucks, and there aren't many parties on the weekends. There are some bars that are okay.

Local Area: ?Birmingham is a big diverse city. The kids on campus like to mingle at places off campus which is cool.

Local Area: Several shopping locations and restaurants surround campus. There is a lot of entertainment in Five Points South. People can go hike in Red Mountain Park, Moss Rock Preserve, or Oak Mountain State Park. You can enjoy swimming/tubing at Oak Mountain State Park or Cahaba River. There is ziplining at Red Mountain Park. Students are revered by suburbia. I love my city.
