Campus Food: So far from what I have experienced, campus food is actually pretty good. It may be hard to believe, but the diner is great. I like it because there are several options to choose from. I am not limited to one selection. Also, the majority of the food is healthy food.

Campus Housing: Living on campus for me was ok, it could have been better. It can get annoying to have a roommate that is the totally opposite from you. I am a clean person, and I like for my space to be clean all the time. I hate a messy bedroom and my roommate was the exact opposite. Also, community stalls and showers are a nuisance because some females are really disgusting and will not clean after themselves. Besides the living conditions, the social atmosphere was always a blast; there is always something to do.

Scholarships: The school does not offer any chances for financial aid for the masters program that I am attending so I have to find other sources for aid.

Campus Food: I do not eat on campus much since I live off campus, but when I do I usually just stop by a food truck and they serve great food.

Scholarships: A large majority excludes students that are not foreign. There are hardly any scholarships for graduate level nurses.

Scholarships: The financial aid process was very easy. I was able to pretty much do everything online by just accepting my financial aid awards.

Campus Food: The food was not to terribly bad although I needed more healthy choices. It was very easy to grab something fattening hence the reason for gaining the freshman 15.

Campus Housing: I had a great freshman year, however, if I am not awarded any scholarship monies I will not be able to live on campus my sophomore year due to the cost.

Greek Life: I'm not affiliated with Greek life, but I know they are always doing something on campus to benefit their charities

Athletics: Football was taken away when we actually started to grow as a program. The men's soccer and basketball teams are great! The games are pretty well attended.

Off-Campus Housing: The area is a huge factor. This determines how expensive an apartment is . The more expensive the apartment and the farther off campus it is, the safer it usually is.

Administration: The Board recently has made some questionable decisions regarding sport cancellations. Overall, the campus is pretty safe. We are usually advised when there was a crime or something dangerous happening on campus. Parking is absolutely terrible. There aren't enough spaces for all of the students as it stands now and next semester we are replacing a parking lot with another building. Eliminating even more parking.

Scholarships: The Scholarships decrease in value every year and sometimes are not correctly put in your account. This is quickly corrected if financial aid is contacted.

Campus Food: The food at WOW and the Den are super greasy. There aren't very many healthy options. The commons have healthy options, but your meal plan can only be used here. Which is inconvenient. For picky eaters, the food options are very limited.

Campus Housing: The process to pick and assign roommates is rather unorganized. The dorms are nice and are decently strict, which is a good thing. Safety is an extreme importance, due to the downtown Birmingham location. However, the freshman usually get to pick their housing before upperclassmen. This seems unfair to me.

Local Area: There is a lot to do downtown. It's an urban area with a fair amount of new development. There are several parks and attractions as well as shopping nearby.

Overall Experience: I really enjoy attending this university. Given the opportunity to do it all over again, I would still choose this one. There is a good environment to grow and explore.

Overall Experience: The professors are excellent and care about their students and also are willing to help students. Courses are challenging, but not overly so. The class sizes vary depending on the course. My largest class was over 100 students and my smallest has been about 25. All in all, the classes have been excellent.
