3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: some places are very very expensive but much nicer, the houses don't seem safe.

College Sophomore

Party Scene: I don't go out very much i mostly just hang out in my friends apartment.

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: I would eat out more but it's kind of expensive, but there are a lot of options.

3 College Sophomore

Administration: they don't really listen to student needs and make us go to class when conditions are clearly to bad to get here, however their offices are closed all the time.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: Getting scholarships at the university is very difficult and you are set up to lose them later.

2 College Sophomore

Campus Food: The on campus food is not good. Robs is the worst by far, it is not clean and the options are very limited compared to what they tell you during orientation. Freshens is only ok and is very expensive.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: The on campus housing is only ok because there is a very wide gap between the quality of each dormitory. Some are brand and have in room bathrooms, while others are very old have no air conditioning and communal bath rooms.

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: I loved living in my dorm freshmen year because that is where I met all of my best friends. I would highly recommend incoming freshmen to a least live in the dorm their first year because it is one of the easiest ways to meet new people. I had friends that opted out and lived in an apartment their freshmen year of college and they regretted it because they met no one in their building. The cost is high for a dorm because you also need to buy a meal plan through the school, but you can apply for scholarships that will make the cost easier. I would recommend incoming freshmen to do their research all of the dorms at their university and find the best fit for me location wise/price/amenities. The convenience of dorms are great because usually they are in the middle of campus or at least on campus unlike other housing options. Walking to class is always short.

Off-Campus Housing: The off-campus houses are just okay when it comes to quality and safety. On the other hand, Akron has great off-campus apartment buildings that are high quality and safe, but kind of pricey.

5 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Akron is great because downtown is within walking distance and has so many options for off-campus dining.

3 College Freshman

Administration: I think the strictness at Akron is just right.

4 College Freshman

Scholarships: The big perk about Akron is the amount of scholarships they give for academically driven students. Almost all of my tuition was paid for by various scholarships just through the school.

3 College Freshman

Campus Food: Robs dining hall is usually pretty bad. You will only want to eat dinner there a few times a week at the most. Take advantage of places like trackside and the creamery that take swipes and have really good food. Also whatever you do, do not get the Rob's unlimited dining plan. I have never met someone that was happy they bought that plan and they didn't get any dining dollars to spend at other places on campus.

3 College Freshman

Health & Safety: The safety is every moderate

Athletics: I like attent the game with my friend. They fun to watch on cheer the team on and get into school spirit.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Pen station, chipotle, Taco Bell and McDonald are better option however, they do not take swipe

3 College Freshman

Administration: It's was just like any other college or university policy

2 College Freshman

Scholarships: To many paper work to do in your own with no help, and it was my first time that I ever have to do paper work like these with no help from the school and how it go

3 College Freshman

Campus Food: The food choice are not bad, but limited on where one can be able to use his/ her swipe

3 College Student

Off-Campus Housing: Not sure yet, still looking into housing for this school.

3 College Student

Party Scene: Not something I partake in, prefer to spend my time studying/working, not wasting the time.

3 College Student

Administration: No clue, haven't been there long enough.

3 College Student

Scholarships: Easy, but didn't get much aid, still very far off from being able to go to this school.

3 College Student

Campus Food: Haven't eaten there, hear it's fine.
