With some rough patches, it's been great overall.

My experience at The University Akron was average. In my opinion, moving 2 hours away allowed me to be independent and learn the lessons I needed to become an adult. I would not recommend the university, though. The education was great, but that was really it. A very dull campus and unfriendly environment.

The University of Akron has a great campus and amazing housing for the students to live. They also have a nice rec center for students to be able to stay fit. I would change the meal plans.
