Health & Safety: There is very little reported crime (bicycles being moved if unlocked is the most common problem). We have security officers patrolling at all hours. And the entrances are locked after hours, with people needing to come on campus requiring IDs to pass through the gate. I feel safe on campus, even after dark

Overall Experience: The professors are wonderful-- I have been invited over to the homes of many of my teachers, and even some that I have not had for classed. They care about the students as individuals and will support when hard times come, like health or family crisis. The courses are hard, but the classes sized are small and the teachers care about their subjects.

Overall Experience: In terms of a degree from the school, it does mean something as students are pushed towards excellence. In terms of career prospects for my degree, I have not heard as many as I wished. I have only interacted with a few employers or grad school recruiters. I have not used the career center/services on campus

Campus Housing: Since all of the dorms on Union's campus are apartment style, every single person has their own room with the experience of sharing common space with 3 dorm mates. Having a spot on campus to close the door is especially beneficial for introverts! Although the cost is high compared to off-campus housing, the convenience of individual dorms plus being withing walking distance to class/to get food is worth it.

Overall Experience: Attending Union University has been the most influential part of my life because of the excellent teachers, the challenging courses and the amazing community. In addition to being pushed towards excellence in my work and the development of my skills, I have been supported and encouraged throughout my experience. I would without any doubt choose Union again.

Health & Safety: Not once since I've been to Union have I felt scared to walk alone or be be anywhere by myself on campus. For the most part, everyone looks out for everyone. I believe Union has very strong safety and security. We have police cars patrol campus daily and close the gates each evening. I love that people can't get on our campus past a certain without showing identity and a student ID. Wherever I go, if I needed someone to protect me, there are plenty of people who would come right away. Union has done a great job of always making me feel safe and at home.

Overall Experience: Union has definitely challenged me academically. Since I've been there, I have learned great study skills and that hard work pays off. Union is definitely not a school you can just slide by in. The professors push you and show you all that you're capable of while helping you along the way. I love that our teachers really explain the information to make sure we grasp it. The one thing that drew me to Union was the classroom size. I love that my classes have around 30 people or less; this way, my teachers really know me, and learning is more hands on. I feel like I have close relationships with all of my teachers and that they truly care how I perform in their class.

Overall Experience: As a nursing major, I strongly look forward to becoming a part of Union's nursing school. It is one of the best around. From friends who have already graduated to friends who are a part of the program now, I have been told I will be pushed to work my hardest and will feel very prepared upon finishing school. In addition, because Union's nursing school is so highly thought of, people who graduate find jobs often time very quickly. I can't wait to see the ways Union teaches me and shows me the value of being able to learn and help others.

Campus Housing: Compared to every school I looked at, Union by far had the best housing. I love how we have a spacious living room, a kitchen with a microwave, 2 bathrooms, and to top it off, our own rooms. As a girl, I've loved having the big closet and not having to share a bathroom with more than one person. The best part about the rooms is that they're so clean and well taken care of upon moving in. I also love having a washer and dryer in the room; it has been so beneficial. Although housing is quite expensive at Union, everything that is provided in the rooms makes it well worth it!

Greek Life: I love the way Greek life at Union allows you to meet an additional family within your student body. As a member of ZTA, it has been such a wonderful opportunity and experience to grow with a group of girls I now call my sisters. These are the girls I'll remember when I leave Union and be thankful for them holding me accountable. I love Union's Greek life in that it isn't seen as a huge "party hard drink fest." In fact, we don't drink at any parties; we believe there are plenty of ways to have fun that don't include alcohol! Everyone in each sorority and fraternity is so kind to each other, and it makes for one great big community. I'm thankful to be a part of Union's Greek life which I may not have participated in a sorority if I had gone to a bigger school.

Athletics: At Union, everyone loves to come watch the basketball, soccer, and baseball games. It really brings the students together as one body cheering on the Dogs! However, I believe it would be beneficial to bring back a football team. I think it would bring more people to Union and is one of many peoples favorite sport to watch.

Overall Experience: Union University has been not only fun, allowed me to meet the friends I'll have for a lifetime, but also really expanded my love for learning. Unlike high school, the professors at Union really are passionate about what they're teaching. To see how much a subject means to a professor really encourages me to want to learn more about the subject too. The teachers really care about the student and have a strong desire to make sure they're grasping the information. I feel sure once I graduate that Union will have me prepared for the "real world." Additionally, Union teaches from a Biblical standpoint, and I just love having teachers challenge me and push me farther to grow in my faith.
