3 College Junior

Academic Experience: The required courses are transferrable to colleges.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: Professors are great, but there aren't many choices on courses.

3 College Freshman

Academic Experience: If you don't know anything abut computers, here is a great place to start.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: It's community college. Don't go in with the desire for a "full college experience" , or you will be disappointed. Teachers are cool, easy A classes, very convenient for students looking to transfer. VERY! So yeah, go to school, get your easy A's with minimal effort, and transfer to your dream school (or next school) with little to no financial strain.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: My major requires several courses that are not transferable anywhere.

3 College Junior

Online Courses: The online course I am currently taking is very simple. Though, the professor does not grade any of the work until the end of the semester.

3 College Junior

Career Services: I do not know much about the post-grad services at Union County College.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: The courses are okay. I love all of them. I have learn a lot from different courses. I am disappointed that the school is not offering some courses that are a requirement for my major.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: My degree is not so popular. There are not many people recruiting students for jobs in my career field.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: My major is very hard, a lot of science, maths and science! So far, so good. There are some research jobs available that are great for getting experience.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: The professors are great. They really care about their students and motivate us a lot. They offer a lot of tutoring for the students.

3 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: i wouldn't say the experience has been bad, i feel like i have been able to manage pretty good.

2 College Freshman

Online Courses: it depends on the person but i'm a more interactive kind of person so online classes aren't for me.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Depending on the professors and courses you have you're experience might vary. For the most part i really enjoyed the professors I've had as of yet. There was one professor who i had issues understanding at first but once i understood his way of speaking the class was easier for me.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: the place where the degree holds the most weight is from where I receive my bachelor degree.

3 College Freshman

Academic Experience: Certain teachers are hard to understand but for the most part i really enjoy it.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Overall the school is good, for it being a community school and all.

2 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: the amount of classes available is low and frustratingly difficult to schedule around. there is basically one main campus, so if you plan to travel to one of the other campuses you will be stuck driving ridiculous amounts

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: not my top choice but i have made enough friends and moved forward in my academic career for a decent price.

3 College Senior

Career Services: at best with recommendations you can get internships or jobs within the industry but you cant get degrees past an associates

5 College Senior

Academic Experience: small community of students for architecture, very close knot and friendlt and all very supportive of each other

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: not over the top. favorites are the professors in my major.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: you wont go much of anywhere unless you are in the nursing program

5 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: My experience at my school has been pretty great. I cannot complain. My classes are set around my schedule, I have the ability to balance work, school, and loved ones. Sometimes there are hassles with studying, financial problems, and personal issues but there are people to help in ever aspect that you need help, advice, or just a shoulder to cry on.

4 College Junior

Online Courses: Online courses are best for people who have to go to school at home. I have not taken any online courses.

Overall ExperienceWhat's this?

At Union County College, there are a few drawbacks, such as a lack of a sense of belonging, uncommitted students, difficult administration, and parking. However, there are still a lot of positives, such as the resources available to students, excellent professors, tutoring programs, cost-effectiveness, and the College's diversity. The huge selection of clubs and societies gives students plenty of things to do to keep themselves busy. No new student should have any problem finding something he or she is interested in. County College opens a lot of doors, including scholarships to four-year schools and connections with professors. The knowledge students gain and the things they experience make them stronger and more well-rounded individuals.

County College is certainly not the same experience as a four-year school, but both sides have their positives and negatives. Community college is a great way to save money and then move on to a four-year school. An education is necessary in today's society, and County College is a leap in the right direction toward a bright, educational future.
