Overall Experience: I really enjoyed my time at Tyler Junior College, it's a great school. Since this is a junior college, the tuition is significantly less than a four year university, and it's a good way to complete all your core classes. Attending a junior college is a good start for incoming freshmen who are nervous about the "whole college experience". One thing that makes TJC unique, is that they now have 10 residence halls, by doing so, housing won't be an issue for international students or students coming from long distances. Given the choice to do it over, I will definitely select TJC again.

Overall Experience: I never expected to love a junior college so much! The teachers are there to see that each and every one of their students succeed. It's defiantly the step I needed between high school and an university.

Academic Experience: The professors are a great help with deadlines. The lecture classes provided are indeed needed for finals, and the work is a bit overwhelming but it's totally worth it. My college has nursing programs as well.

Student Body: The students at my school are like those at other junior Colleges. They are either there to get credits to move on to another university, or they are returning students. I think the returning students are brave. It takes a lot of courage to return to school after not taking any classes for years. That's dedication to improving their futures.
