Academic Flexibility: I am excited to graduate with my associates degree.

4 College Junior

Online Courses: Most all courses are hands on experience. Which is better learning techniques for me.

4 College Junior

Career Services: Triangle tech had a 97% job placement in their 2015 graduates. That is a big pluswith going to school here.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: There is plenty of one on one betweeen student and teacher.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: This school comes highly recommended in this career, and the job placement is extremely good upon graduation.

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: I like the fact of all the hands on training. The most important thing to me is that when I graduate I will be a leading professional in my career and they have excellent job placement upon graduation.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Due to having a smaller class we are able to have more one on on training with the teachers, which is what makes this school where I want to attend.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: Field trips and hands on labs have been great in anticipating the real world experience following school.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Lessons have been well organized and communicated clearly.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: Classes are 8am-2:30pm which gives me plenty of time to work in the evening. Instructors stay at the school until 4pm to offer free tutoring for students who require extra attention.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Classes are small in student numbers, 8 students in my class. Small class sizes are great for hands on education and no student getting lost in numbers of peers. The curriculum is staight forward and communicated well.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Lifetime placement is key in our industry. The career services department is very helpful and friendly. Alumni typically recruit students and assist in the needs of current students.

Academic Experience: The hands on techniques in the refrigeration labs are very interesting and useful in preparing for a job. The instructors use a sufficient work load for the full time student by giving time to complete work during school hours, so an adult learner like myself can maintain a full time work schedule.

Overall Experience: So far the she school has fulfilled my expectations. Admissions and financial aid staff have been friendly, organized, and efficient. Although I've only had one lab instructor and one Algebra teacher, both have been extremely helpful and are very good at communicating the information and describing what is required by students to be successful.

Overall Experience: I'm excited about all the things that I've learned at school so far. I've learned to use the TIG welding process which I am very excited about. I'm halfway through my program and I am very much ready to learn more through the next 8-9 months.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Graduating with an associates degree in 16 months is totally worth it in my book. most of your costs as a student are for material. They even give you a list of places where you can get scholarships to reduce your costs as a student, have flexible payment options, and financial aid knows what they're doing.

Career Services: Job prospects are great, you get plenty of certifications so when you go out in the field you have a stacked resume, and at any time if you need a certification or want to practice for an upcoming weld test, you may do so in the facility free of charge. That is what is great, is as long as you are a former student of the school, you can come back at any time and receive a weeks worth of training free.

Student Body: Some people are just getting out of jail and trying to put their life back together, some are just getting out of the military, etc. and you meet people from many different walks of life here.

Academic Experience: Welders are respected in the school because our job is very difficult and strenuous both mentally and physically, and very dangerous. The facilities are nice but some of the machines are kind of worn out. Safety is stressed and enforced from day one, because a mistake can lead to disaster in this field. Job opportunities are perfect, they can find you a local job, or you can find jobs in completely different areas of the country. Most of the people in my term are pretty cool, and we've grown and learned to work together on projects large and small.

5 College Senior

Academic Experience: Instructors are all great, curriculum is great, registration for classes is easy (I signed up a week before the term was supposed to start and it only took me a day), you can stay late every day till 4 o'clock (you typically get off at 2:30) to practice or work on projects. They also have advanced placement in the mathematics courses you take in your first and second terms, where you can test out of having to take those courses.

5 College Senior

Overall Experience: Instructors are excellent at this school, all are very experienced and they are teaching the proper courses. In other words, guys who have been stick welders and structural welders all their lives are teaching the structural classes, pipe welders teach the pipe classes, etc. which really helps us learn a ton. Any time you have a question there are typically 5 instructors within shouting distance of you, all of which are accomplished welders who came to teach at school to pass their knowledge onto the students. Class sizes start off a little large in your first term, however only about 50% of every class makes it to graduation, sometimes more and sometimes less. There are other programs other than welding that I'm sure are set up similarly.

Overall Experience: This school (atleast the welding program) has connections with some excellent jobs, providing great job placement for those of us who are there and willing to work hard every day and show up. That being said, if you show a lack of interest or show up late every day, those are the guys who will never get a decent job in the field. However, it's not the schools fault for that, the schools job isnt to wake you up in the morning and brush your teeth like a baby. The school provides the knowledge and you need to be there to absorb it. Back on topic, there are plenty of great jobs that hire direct out of our school and will train you on the job for whatever they need you for.

4 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: This school does a great job in the flexibility aspect. Teachers are all understanding that we're adults and have jobs, wives, kids, etc. to go home to after school, and they provide enough work that you learn well, but yet at the same time don't overload you with book work. It's a great balance.

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: There isn't really a lot in the way of resources. We have a library, a few computer labs for some of the computer courses the welding program and other programs take. Other than that, no sports, or really any extracurricular activities in general.
