Academic Experience: Tri county is known for having one of the best associate nursing programs in the upstate. The curriculum is difficult, but it is necessary to make a dedicated, committed nurse. The workload is on par with the universities, but it is easily managed. Even while working two jobs and being a mom. The program is catered to men and women who actually want to be in the nursing profession to help people. It is amazing.

Overall Experience: This is my second time attending the school. The first time, they helped ease the transition from high school to college level work. The professors were incredibly patient with me, as a young student. The entire staff was willing to bend over backwards to help. That kind of academic community is what drew me to continue my education at this school.

Academic Experience: I am currently a biological sciences/bioengineering major at Tri-County and I'll soon be transferring to Clemson University. My time with Tri-County this past semester has been some of the most enjoyable academic experience I've had and I believe my next semester with the honors program will be even better. It's nice to be able to look forward to my classes and my program curriculum for once, but one thing to keep in mind is that you are not given these opportunities, you have to search them out.

Overall Experience: Tri-County is a great school for academic affairs prior to transfering to a four year school (if this is your intention--I only have experience with this program and so I will be speaking strictly in terms of this). Some of the best features about the college are the low tuition costs, the professors are really good for the most part, and the campus is really nice for a small technical college. I would label some of the cons as the lack of information publishing and the lack of overall social dynamic and opportunity.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: Great advisors. I have seen much improvement since I last attended this school

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: As I've already said, they do their jobs and help to prepare you for a better future.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: Its a school. They do their jobs and do their best to prepare you for the future

3 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: Classes range from 8 am to 10 pm so finding classes to fit your schedule is easy.

3 College Sophomore

Online Courses: The workload for online classes is less than an actual class. Instructors are slow to respond to emails.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Most of the instructors are nice and really care for their students success and understanding of the subjects. Classes are very challenging. Thet have to keep their standards high so classes can transfer to universities. There's not much variety of courses offered. It's main just the generic subjects.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: An associates degree from this school carries a long way locally.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: Expect long nights of lab reports and online homework. All classes require a term paper and a cumulative final.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: It's built on a mountian so one gets excersise every day before class.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: Tri-County Technical College is an amazing school with teachers that really care about their students. It is much cheaper than other colleges so it is a great school to start off with.

Overall Experience: The school helps prepare students for classes at a four year university. Most of the teachers are genuine and want to help you succeed. It is a two year college, so don't go expecting a meaningful degree without transfer

Overall Experience: I Love it here at Tri-County. I'm a Bridge to Clemson student so i have the best of both worlds basically.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I love Tri-County because it's such a small school, which gives me the opportunity to build relationships with my professors. The professors here are also very energetic and interesting.

Overall Experience: When I started this school, it was packed with students. Then they diversified and expanded the main campus into a city campus and a town campus, then a technology campus near the city one. They have four campuses now and that's impressive! Any student coming to any of these campuses will find friendly, knowledgeable, nice teachers and very helpful professors who drifted over from Clemson U. My five advisors have all been extremely informative and helpful, going the extra mile to let me know what shortcuts I could take towards my degree. I changed my degree 3 times while at this school and now I am graduating. Just a clue...try not to change your degree more than twice. It will extend your time at any jr. community by about 2 more years. The exercise I got climbing the back "heart attack hill" was a real boost to my legs and knees, not to mention a great cardio-vascular workout every day I walked to classes!! I will recommend any high school to attend this college FIRST before going to to Clemson or USC or Lander. The courses cost less than the big four year university a few miles down the road, but they have the same course CONTENT! Some engineering courses compare to U of GA's courses. Many Viet Nam vets are still teaching at the school, whom I really learned a lot about Life from, even at MY age! GO FOR IT...

Overall Experience: The advisors and teachers at TCTC are very helpful. The campus is clean and is well kept.

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: It out of the city and in a quiet area and has my major with many advisors to go to.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: From my experience so far the advisors are very helpful and are happy to go above and beyond. The teachers on the other hand, except for a select few, aren'tass willing to help you.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: They have a lot of technical issues and some of the teacher don't try to help you.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: My experience with the school has been somewhat of a hassle trying to deal with financial aid and being accepted into the college.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: My overall experience with this school has been a roller coaster full of emotions. I have had good days and bad days but I really love being in college and having freedom! But preparing for the future and having to do stuff all alone sucks.
