Overall Experience: Love the school because the teacher's really care and will make time if you need it for any additional instruction or help!

Tuition & Financial Aid: I am poor enough that I qualify for a Pell Grant, which pays my tuition and books, and then some left over. I have also applied for and received several smaller scholarships ($100 to $1000).

Academic Experience: I am currently enrolled in the Animal Assisted Interactions program (Human Services field), and I love it! It's the only program of it's type in my entire state, and one of a handful in the country! I am so excited to have such a unique opportunity that is so well suited to my personality, in my own backyard! The workload is fair, and my animal classes are a lot of fun! I get to bring my dog to class and train him in school, what could be better?!

Academic Experience: The professors are amazing....always willing to help you if you need it. Classes are small enough that professors get to know their students names, personalities, strengths, weaknesses, etc. Small class size is one of my favorite things about Tri-County. We get to have regular class discussions because there are at most 25-30 in a class, not 150 like large universities. I get personal attention and hands on time with professors when needed!

2 College Junior

Campus Quality: This is a community college, a place to take classes, not a place to hang out.

3 College Junior

Online Courses: I honestly HATE online classes, I feel it's a way to just get "the piece of paper that says I can work", not a way to actually learn the subject matter. The only time I take online courses is if it is the only way a required class is offered, or if it is for an "easy" or "throw away" class that I don't real feel is important to my education.
