Party Scene

{{ error }}
3 College Freshman

Party Scene: If students get involved and build connections, it is easy to find parties off campus. However, if you are under twenty one or are a commuter, it is hard to find parties.

4 College Freshman

Party Scene: Everyone goes out on Thursdays. Local clubs see a lot of action.

4 Recent Alumnus

Party Scene: As long as you knew the right people, you could find a good party on any night of the week.

2 College Sophomore

Party Scene: Towson weekends are usually the same. A few people manage to find decent parties, most either drink in their dorms or go to the bars.

3 College Sophomore

Party Scene: I think that party wise there isn't much variety or options when it comes to house parties as they are either way too inconveniently off campus or get busted before it can even really get started. Your best bet is going "uptown" which are the bars where you do need an ID because on various actions there are undercover cops ready to give citations so beware

Towson is, without a doubt, a bar school with a great nightlife. If a student wants, he or she can find something to do just about every single night of the week. In fact, around campus, you will see promotions for clubs or bars just about every day of the week. Students have their favorite bars, whether it is uptown or downtown. What makes Towson’s nightlife so great is that there are so many different bars to choose from that the scene does not get old too soon, as it does at many other colleges. You can easily get away with pre-gaming with friends in your room, and the uptown bars are within walking distance from campus.

Students agree that the nightlife in Towson is outstanding. There is so much to do and somewhere to go every night. There are tremendous parties, but they tend to be held more often when the weather is nice. Since Towson’s weather lacks many warm nights, the bar scene happens to be more frequented than the house-party scene.
