Campus Food

3 College Junior

Campus Food: We get 50 gourmet dollars on our ID card every semester. This allows us to get free chick-fil-la, planet smoothie, lotta java, and pirate grill which is amazing.

Campus Food: It's not bad, but it's not great. Definitely could be worse.

Campus Food: I wish that there were more healthy options. I also wish that there was a place to get food in the math building.

Campus Food: Overall, the campus food is not that bad. However, it is sometimes hard to find healthy options, or if it is a weekend of late hours there is barely any food left.

Campus Food: I definitely enjoyed eating at the Newell dining hall. I appreciated all the variety of meals and the fact that it was like a buffet with desserts. But I loved eating the Susquehanna because of the Chick-Fil A and sushi food area. It would be a lot better if they sold more edible soups.

Campus dining can be good or bad depending on what dining hall you choose to go to. The Susquehanna Food Court in the University Union is a decent eatery where a student can find Chick-fil-A, pizza, and a deli. Students express their love for the Patuxent because it provides an alternative to the typical mess-hall food. The Glen is a renovated dining hall that students are torn on—some love the renovations and the convenient location between the Towers, but others are still frightened by what the Glen used to be like. Newell is regarded as the mess hall with a variety of options that many students enjoy, as well. There's also the Newell Dining Hall, which has a great salad bar, kosher food, and all-you-care-to-eat options.

As a whole, students find the food okay at Towson and generally better than the food at other schools. The dining halls have many unique attributes that students just love—especially at the Patuxent. It is safe to say, though, that the food on campus lacks appreciation because of the outstanding off-campus dining selection.
