Overall Experience: I love towson university and I am excited to be accepted and a student to their speech pathology and audiology program. Learning studying techniques and being away from home is difficult at first but is very rewarding by the end.

Overall Experience: Towson is okay, but there are plenty of areas in which it could stand some improvement. A lot of the kids who go there don't really take school seriously and are just wasting their parents money. I wish the film curriculum was a little more challenging.

Overall Experience: Towson University was never my first choice, but I ended up there due to the amount of scholarships I was offered. I went in pretty apprehensive, not sure if Towson would be the place for me, but confident that I would have the resources that I needed to get where I ultimately want to be -- practicing Occupational Therapy, with my own practice, among the best of the best. Towson's combined BS/MS Occupational Therapy program is the only of its kind in the state of Maryland, and is recognized as one of the best in the nation. Even if the rest of the school didn't suit my fancy, I knew I needed to be in the BS/MS program to make it worth my while. After a few rough transitional weeks, I realized that the TU community was becoming my second home. The faculty are inspiring and incredibly intelligent, the students are active and proud to be Tigers. I found comfort in the resources made available to me and the types of people I was meeting in and out of the classroom (I am in the Honors College and lived in Honors Housing my first year). One very important person was my advisor, Mr. Karp. Not only does he have an uncanny resemblance to Stanley Tucci, but he made sure to keep me on track and encourage me to push myself academically and socially, while still maintaining my sanity. When it came time to apply to the OT program, he was there every step of the way and for that I will always be grateful. I ended up getting into the program (yay!), and getting along incredibly well with my roommate, as well as making some great friends. Ultimately, I am so glad that I chose Towson, and I look forward to learning and living with my Tiger family for the next few years.

Overall Experience: I love my school and the education I am receiving.

Overall Experience: College definitely isn't what I expected it to be. If I had to write only one sentence, that would be it. Towson University is a great school and even though I wasn't able to take advantage of everything they offered I was informed about every opportunity. I got a job on campus, I joined clubs, I went to events. These are all things I didn't partake in during high school. Towson makes it so that everybody on campus is comfortable and able to enjoy themselves. I even sing the Towson anthem on a daily basis.

Overall Experience: Towson University is a great school that is very accepting of transfer students (like me)! There is a ton of activities to do on campus, from rec league sports to clubs and greek life. The food is also really good, so that is a plus!

Overall Experience: It's an amazing experience that keeps one focused.

Overall Experience: I had trouble when I was a freshman when it came to adjusting to being away from home. I needed a lot of time, a whole year and then some, to get used to the new "norm" of my life. Now that I'm involved with Greek life at school, I couldn't be happier where I am. I still struggle from time to time, but it's all worth it. I love being independent and relying on myself. If I had to do it all over, I would have moved Towson closer if possible. I love my school, but sometimes the distance from home causes a little issue.

Overall Experience: When I arrived on campus, I was very nervous and had a hard time being away from home. After about a week or so, I started to realize that nearly everyone was happy there and loved it, and there had to be a reason for that. I soon found my reasons. The classes are so engaging, the professors are amazing, and the friends I have made are unbeatable. Towson cares about their students, especially honors students, and is generous with scholarships. I wish that I could go back in time and tell myself to give my school more credit because I would choose it all over again!

Overall Experience: Towson University has proven to be the ideal school for me. After taking 2 years off of school, I entered my freshman year a little bit older than the rest and had low expectations. The people, environment, and education are all amazing here. I am from out of state and though it has been a huge transition, I do love it here. I was able to become a committee member for a club, got two part time jobs on campus, and still maintained grades that I was satisfied with. If I could do it all over, I wouldn't change a thing. I am happy that I took time off from school because it allowed me to have a greater appreciation for education and attaining my overall goal of a bachelors degree. I highly recommend Towson University!

Overall Experience: I'll be a freshman this upcoming fall, and I could not be more excited to start my college journey. I've met several great people attending Towson already, and super excited to begin my pre nursing classes. I love the campus, it's a very nice environment and very well kept. There is also a lot to do at Towson, there are a lot of clubs and teams, and I'm really excited for the Towson activity fair early September. If I had to do it all over again, I'd still pick Towson no doubt!

Overall Experience: I personally love Towson University. I'm a quiet person and was worried about how that would impact my freshman year of college, but I made friends and loved the classes and environment.

Overall Experience: I think i made the right decision choosing to go to my school. I love how they are so committed to the students, both in the classroom and outside, with the array of activities that is offered for everyone to feel like they belong somewhere. If I had a do over, I would most likely choose to attend the same school because it is a state school and I live in state so tuition is less.

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: At first I was hesitant about my decision and even looking to transfer for the second semester. But once I gave the second semester a try I feel in love. I was at my happiest knowing I've finally found the place I was destined to learn new experiences and receive my degree from. The diversity at Towson was just the cherry on top for why I chose to stay. The opportunities Towson has to offer on and off of campus, I just knew I couldn't give it all up. If I could tell my first semester self that everything will be okay by second semester I wouldn't have been looking at other colleges to transfer to. I would've applied to just Towson my senior year of high school if i knew then what I know now!

Overall Experience: The Towson community is fun and inviting

Overall Experience: some teachers are clueless. Small class size is great. Great Location.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: School has been challanging academically so far. But the people in it, from students to staffs have been fun, and have made it easy enough to go through the challanges of school.

Overall Experience: I got to be captain my senior year of our field hockey team which was very fun. Courses weren't very stimulating unless I was entirely immersed with interest in that subject, like for my Literature or Sociology class.

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I love Towson! I have met amazing people, had experiences that I couldn't have anywhere else.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Towson University is an okay school. I like that it is only 40 minutes from my home so that it is not too close but not too far if I have to go home. I do wish that it was a bigger school as I feel that it is lacking school spirit but it is not too bad. I have had great experiences in my classes thus far as most of the professors have been nice and accommodating and the class sizes are perfect- an average of only 30 students.

Overall Experience: I went to community college before I transferred to a four year institution. I am glad I went to community college first because it helped save a lot of money especially because I was not sure what major I wanted to pursue yet. I think if I did it all over again I would do exactly what I did this time.

Overall Experience: Being a minority at a PWI is hard. Many people still judge you based off the color of your skin and not what you can offer to the community.

Off-Campus Dining: There a lot of options when driving into town. However, there are no student discounts.

Administration: We are a dry campus and the visiting hours are awful.

Maybe they just enjoy the small, comfortable campus setting that allows them to pass by familiar faces every day.
