Campus Housing: It is great the food is amazing and everyone is very keen on their education. People are very friendly and very serious in the work!

Campus Food: Glen is honestly the worst dining hall but it has those days when it's ok. Best dining hall would be west village. If you don't have a meal plan that's ok, you can go to places like the den and susquehanna and just buy with cash. Towson doesn't have a whole lot of healthy choices though.

Campus Housing: Most dorms are close to academic buildings, so it's not too long of a walk to class.Your RA's and people in the building are available to help. The housing process is easy enough as long as you pay your housing deposit on time.

Off-Campus Housing: Some off campus housing is nice but it can be expensive. You just have to look for good prices. Living on campus is more convenient and closer to the school. It is also safer.

Party Scene: I am actually not a party person. Therefore , I am not familiar with the parties at school.

Campus Food: The food is so good. There are a variety of foods that people can enjoy. Also there are a lot of healthy foods as well.

Campus Housing: Living on campus is very nice and convenient. You learn to communicate better with other people and its in walking distance to your classes. If you live in campus it is easier for all students to go to their classes rather than commuting to school.

Off-Campus Housing: Everything is great about living off campus and you have more freedom than the dorms. Cons would be the cost and a meal plan is not needed. Safety is pretty good where I live no problems yet, landlords are no problem at an apartment complex I don't know anything about renting houses though. The school has fairs that help you find off-campus options which is great!

Off-Campus Dining: there's a good variety of options off-campus, although sometimes the prices can be high because it is near a collegetown, but a lot of places have a student discount which is helpful. My favorite places to check out would be Atwater's, Zia's for an awesome healthy smoothie/vegan options, and the mall has a variety of choices.

Administration: The campus is pretty lenient on most things such as drinking in the dorms and noise, they understand you are a college student and they want you to have fun but only at a certain extent.

Scholarships: I did not receive any financial aid when I applied for fafsa. Just because my parents make over the minimum to recieve financial aid does not mean that they are paying my tuition and it was simply unfair to many students paying their way through college.

Party Scene: Honestly you aren't going to have a fun time in Towson unless you are able to go to the bars because the party scene has really been lacking lately. Minimal parties and they are all very exclusive (even the frat parties) you have to know someone, which shouldn't be what college is about.

Campus Food: I love that we have a starbucks, chickfila, and jamba juice on campus. The dining halls aren't as bad as everyone makes them out to be I think they were great and had a good variety of food for everyone even healthy choices.

Campus Housing: Although some of the dorming options are not the best, the social atmosphere and just the atmosphere of living on campus is great. Everyone is so friendly, and willing to go out of the way for you. The cost is not too bad to live there, its less costly than living in an off campus apartment for sure and the convenience of being so close to class is great and the housing process is so easy to do!

Off-Campus Housing: Plenty of off-campus options, can be a little bit pricey. Some areas are kind of dangerous off-campus so try not to be alone too often. Lots of apartment options, houses aren't as great. Ancient brothel laws prevent more than three people from living in a house together in Towson, and more than four outside of Towson.

Off-Campus Dining: You're in a metropolitan area, there's plenty of places open. A decent amount deliver and stay open late. Some late-night places can be pricey but without them you'd starve, considering the awful on-campus food hours over the weekend.

2 College Freshman

Administration: Lot of problems this year with ice over campus and doing an awful job of cleaning it up. Parking is terrible, and they tend to enforce policies on drug and alcohol use to a strict degree. Those are the only glaring issues.

4 College Freshman

Scholarships: Had no problems. Kinda thought it was just a smooth process for every school.

3 College Freshman

Party Scene: Absolutely a bar school. There are some house parties, mostly only if you are involved in a fraternity or team. Even so most end up being pregames to go uptown to bars. I wish more house parties existed, but it's partly because the police and others are such sticklers around here. A fake id is a requirement if you want to enjoy the "party scene".

Towson is the type of school that, if you find the right people, you will have a wonderful experience. For those who have trouble making friends, it is highly recommended to get involved on campus. There are many organizations and sports teams that thrive in Towson and are strongly recommended in order to assist students in finding a solid group of friends. Some students love Towson so much that they just cannot pinpoint exactly what it is that they love so much. Perhaps it is the attentive faculty at Towson or the nightlife that has so much to offer. Maybe they just enjoy the small, comfortable campus setting that allows them to pass by familiar faces every day.

Towson is a school that becomes what you make of it. It is clear that the students who are engaged in their work or are interested in an organization gain a greater sense of appreciation for Towson.
