4 College Freshman

Technology: There are plenty of computers scattered throughout campus. I prefer a personal computer since I can relax and use it in my own room. The price for printing papers is low. Overall, availability of computers is very good and the network is very reliable.

5 College Junior

Technology: There is a building on Tiffin University campus that has at least 5 computer labs in it. These labs are used sometimes for classes but only the labs on the lower level and they can be used after class hours. The one on the upper level is used for whenever a student needs a computer if they do not have one of their own, this place provides free printing and Tech support is housed in this building. Their is also the Gilmore which is the main building on campus that houses the cafeteria, the bookstore, the gym, some offices, the mail room and the lobby has at least twelve computers that students can use whenever they need one along a printer that prints free of cost. Their is the campus library that has computers to use and another building on campus that provides 8 more computers for the students to use. Some businesses around the campus that cater to the students and faculty allow free wi-fi usage and all the dorms provide free wi-fi for the students who need it for their laptops. Free Wi-Fi is accessible all over campus. The computers are all fast and are usually checked for viruses and get up to date every month or so. Many students find it helpful to use their laptops but it is not necessary to have to have your own. Some professors will allow students to use their laptops or tablets in class as long as it is used for class and not for social networking or gaming purposes.
