Online Courses

5 College Sophomore

Online Courses: All online classes that I have taken were well-developed. I appreciate the ability to work ahead. Many classes have discussion board requirements and also require that a student reply to several peers. I have been able to reach my instructors quickly through email.

Online Courses: I have taken online courses in the past but I like being in the classroom

4 College Senior

Online Courses: It is very easy to sign up for online classes, and they can teach you the same as a regular class. Teachers are varied in quality as in regular classrooms, and workloads are often a little bit heavier due to the online side. Peer interaction is minimum, with discussion boards being the most interaction required. Communication with instructors is mostly done through emails.

Online Courses: I loved my experience with online courses! I love being able to do the work/class on my time and not having to worry about scheduling classes around eachother; I'm able to make my own schedule. The workload is just like that of a traditonal classroom, sometimes even less. The disscusion board is great because we get to talk with our students and professors through it. Some online courses you also still doing group work/project, which can me tricky at times but it can be done! An overall grey experience with my online courses. I would recommend them to anyone wanting to take one!

Online Courses: I took US History, which is why I could not score the real life applicability very high. With that said, the class was great. The course load was very manageable, but it would not have been had I actually done the reading assignments. The reading assignments were only evaluated based on your discussion group answers, but you could just fake it. The quizzes were predictable and pretty simple. You could print out the answers and build a test bank to study for every possible question on the exam. The final exam was a selection of 50 out of a possible 400 questions. I literally just studied the 400 questions over and over again and I think the final took me a whopping 5 minutes.
