I loved my experience with online courses! I love being able to do the work/class on my time and not having to worry about scheduling classes around eachother; I'm able to make my own schedule. The workload is just like that of a traditonal classroom, sometimes even less. The disscusion board is great because we get to talk with our students and professors through it. Some online courses you also still doing group work/project, which can me tricky at times but it can be done! An overall grey experience with my online courses. I would recommend them to anyone wanting to take one!

Great starter school, I'm a transfer student and appreciate the transfer program guaranteeing all my credit being accounted in my school I'm transferring too! So helpful to know I can pay less for classes that are still accepted seeing as I'm paying for my classes out of my own pocket with the help of my student loans. The flexibility of the classes are also helpful meaning I can still work five days a week and go to class two days a week. Very helpful staff and students are friendly and motivated. The second day I locked my keys in my car and while I was waiting for AAA, six students passing by offered to help me! I appreciate the friendly students and very pleased with my classes so far. Looking forward to the rest of my two years at TCC!

With the new buildings at the Chesapeake campus, everything is great. There are more computer labs now, higher technology in the newer classrooms, and a bigger student center that even comes equipped with a gym! I never had an issue getting on a computer at TCC. The network while on the computers was great, very fast. They only problem was the wireless network that I used for my iPad and phone. That would work on occasion and was slow when it did work. They had plenty of outlets spread throughout the the school for cell phone chargers though, and that was really convenient. The library seemed to be stocked well, though I never took advantage of that. I mainly went into the library to use to the computers and study. They library attendants were very helpful and friendly though.
