Online Courses

4 College Senior

Online Courses: The first time I took an online course was last year in the spring. I thought it would be hard seeming how it was a two part itclass, lecture and lab. When taking a course in class, there are students that you can befriend immediately, talk to the teacher, ask questions, get help understanding the problem or assignment. A class on campus is more convenient and easier to relate because its more hands-on. Online, its completely different. A student will be independent and it may take days for a professor to reply back via email if the student is in need of aid. Interaction between students and the teacher can be followed up either by their school email or their black board's discussion board. From my experience, the workload is relatively similar to the traditional classroom experience, as long as the student follows up with the syllabus and the assignment schedule. As for registering for the class, just make sure you sign up early and lock in the course you want to take. There is a site for students to check out the professors that will be teaching them by the reviews of previous students. To say the least, online courses are also convenient when you have access to the computer and won't have to waste gas commuting to school.

5 College Freshman

Online Courses: Online classes are the best! Teachers are always very time oriented and understand if you are busy.

4 College Junior

Online Courses: The teachers are very knowledgeable with the online learning interface. It makes things a lot simpler to communicate with students.

4 College Junior

Online Courses: I have only had one online course, and enjoyed taking it. It was very easy to contact my instructor and my classmates if I needed to. The assignments were easy to do and submit, and were always open for a very reasonable amount of time.

3 College Junior

Online Courses: From what I've experienced thus far it's a relatively clean-cut process that makes things far less difficult than expected.
