3 College Freshman

Administration: I feel that when I went through orientation it made it sound like it would be stricter and campus security would assist but I feel that really isn't the case

3 College Junior

Administration: There isn't a lot of rules, and when you break them, most of the time you get caught, as long as someone reports you. I'm sure a lot goes on that people aren't away of,

3 College Freshman

Administration: I have my favorites in the Public Safety department, they are very friendly and tend to get to know the students on a personal level, and they are here to help more than discipline

3 College Freshman

Administration: Sometimes I think the administration can be too strict on students who are just trying to have some fun, and are not being malicious. That being said, they do respect all students despite GPA or their social background.

3 College Sophomore

Administration: Its only okay because sometimes I feel like I am in a security prison rather than a institution to study at.

There are not a lot of strict rules on campus, but the policies, which can be found in the Thomas College Student Handbook, are expected to be followed. There is no attendance policy in place and visitation is allowed as long as the school is notified. Probably the strictest policy is that alcohol is prohibited on campus.

Public Safety is all about creating a safe environment and helping students feel at ease when walking around campus at night or during the day. Weapons such as guns and knives are prohibited on campus. The RAs are also pretty lenient overall but also do a very good job at keeping the students safe and aware. Also, the Director of Resident Life lives on campus in case of any emergencies or other issues.

Facts & Statistics

All guests on campus need to stay with their host at all times and wear a pass that states that they are a visitor.
Did You Know?
If you are a hunter and usually carry your gun in your vehicle, remember to remove it before arriving on campus because guns are not allowed on school grounds.
