3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I like this school. Wouldn't change anything.

5 College Freshman

Health & Safety: I feel very safe on campus, the security is very good and people are always around to walk you back to your room.

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I love almost all my professors. The small class sizes make it that much easier to have a relationship and I feel like I can ask questions and that they care about me.

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I am a Nursing major and I feel very confident that I will pass the NCLEX and get a job at Albany Med.

Campus Housing: Although the freshman dorms are simple the upperclassmen one are extremely nice and I'm very excited to move in next year.

Greek Life: My school does not offer much Greek life because it is all girls however there are many Greek life events at RPI which is about 10 minutes away. I enjoy going there for events and always have fun.

4 College Freshman

Athletics: I am on the Tennis and we play at a very nice facility outdoors, but if it rains there is also another indoor place we can play which is also very nice. There is always cold water and healthy snacks provided for us.

Overall Experience: I absolutely love my college! I am from the country so moving to the city was a very big change for me. My school makes me feel very safe, there are always events going on, campus security is everywhere and people are extremely friendly. I love being able to walk everywhere and have my classes all so close together in vicinity. Overall i am completely satisfied with my decisions and I would recommend RSC to anyone!

Health & Safety: Just call public safety! Even if you feel uncomfortable walking from a class back to your dorm at night someone can go and escort you or stay on the phone with you until you reach your room safely. If you have any concerns about a stranger on campus, call public safety and they'll check it out.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: As long as you put for the effort, things should come your way.

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: I was very lucky to get an awesome RA. I also am friends with almost everyone in my hall. Overall it is great.

3 College Freshman

Athletics: Everyone works well together as a team and helps each other out when needed. Sports for everyone else isn't a big thing unless you are in that sport.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: R-A-DOUBLE L- Y D-A-Y spells rally day, rally day! This is when all the classes at my school ban together to do something that is really cool. It's a secret to first years but it is a lot of fun. Perfect for getting you mind off of mid term blues. I find this pretty unique in our own way.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: Classes are great, campus is safe and overall is a great experience.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: School would give me the great advantage in my field when I earn my degree.

4 College Senior

Health & Safety: I feel safe when I am on campus.

3 College Senior

Greek Life: I am not sure about Greek life, as it is not part of my interest.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: I am satisfy with my current school. The professor and staff are always there to help.

3 College Senior

Athletics: I never participated in any sporting even at school.

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: Public safety is always making rounds, they respond rapidly when needed, and students were given a portable security device to use this school year to use in case of emergency.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: There isn't a large variety of interesting courses. Most professors are knowledgeable of what they teach, but there are a handful that are not fit to be teachers. Being that we have a small student body, class sizes are usually small (10-17 students)

2 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Not much alumni come back to visit, and they usually do no have jobs in their field of study. This worries me as an undergrad about the lack of opportunities after graduation.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: Both the UHCS and Residence Hall dorming options are clean, well decorated, and spacious.

4 College Sophomore

Athletics: Athletics seem to be a huge part of Sage culture. Though we're a Division III school, varsity sports are popular. Teachers, faculty members, families, alumni, and Sage students make it a priority to attend our Basketball and Soccer games. Those are our most popular sports teams here at Sage. The fan support is great, there is a great feeling of school spirit when games are attended, and there is a lot of money that was put into the athletic facilities. Unfortunately, it seems as though many of our student athletes are only here at Sage for sports, and do not enjoy the academic aspect.

What's great about Russell Sage College is the friendly atmosphere, the variety of courses, and the professors who actually want to see students succeed. One problem that some students have encountered is the changing curriculum for certain majors, which causes student schedules to become altered and completely messed up. However, problems like this one are usually fixable by speaking with an adviser. Overall, the College greatly prepares students for their future careers through student involvement in extracurricular activities and community service. When students volunteer with companies in their fields of study, they make connections with people who they could potentially work for someday, through opportunities like internships and job shadowing.

Russell Sage College is unique because it is an all-women’s college, and all women who attend Sage end up having the power to change the world. Sage wants all of its students to make a difference, and many other schools do not focus as much on the power and influence of women as Sage does. Being influential is one of the most important and positive skills a student could acquire, and it is valued by the College, as well as the students.
