Overall Experience: I am a recent graduate of this school who majored in Media Arts and Animation. The sale reps will act like used car sales men and pretended to your best friend until you officially enroll into the school.

The facility is awful, lack of equipment and limited access to the computer labs. I had to invest my own money into a building my own computer because the computers they own have very bad specs to them. Also, they are way out dated. The library doesn't take care of their books. For example, their books are torn up, heavy used and many pages were missing.

This school have the worst kinds of people working for them. The financial department is run by lazy overweight black American females who present themselves in a unprofessional manor and attitude. In addition, they all mess up on your intuition bills by charging you more than what you should be paying. Every month or so, they will send you inaccurate bills and will give you BS answers over the phone or in person. In others words their scamming you.

Upon graduation, every student is assigned to a career service agent who pretend to act like your best friend until you you turn down a job offering they present to you. The job offering I was present with was a making graphic t-shirts. I told my career agent that I was interested in it and she flipped out at me. She told me that I was an embarrassment to the whole school. After that, I didn't here much from them afterwards. Just about every department the school offers is a big disaster experience.

The only things that I can give the school credit for is they do give you the option to use their online resources, one free open drawing class per week, and good instructors who do show that they care about their students.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I feel as though my school is overpriced. I've been there for 3yrs and year by year programs are being taken away and priority classes aren't offered at convenient times. Sometimes these classes aren't offered at all if they feel as though enough people haven't registered for the class.

Campus Resources: I enjoy the fact that my campus is in the city. My major is Fashion Marketing so I'm surrounded by retail and I have the opportunity get hands on experience. I love my professors. Majority of all professors have worked in the field and provide great advice and often still have connections which is great for networking.

Overall Experience: My overall experience has been wonderful. My first Game art class was with a teacher named Matt Porter, who opened my eyes to anything and everything that I want to become. In one scenario we both stayed extra late to figure out a certain code together and ended up staying til the school actually closed its doors. We then went to grab food and continued talking about the career in being a game designer and what I will need to do for my future in the game art program. Over all, this experience alone made me cherish the time i spent here, and i wouldn't trade this moment or any other moment that I have had here for anything.

Overall Experience: Once you step into the Art Institute, You'll feel a little overwhelmed and also excited. But when you start classes you will then shift to full excitement over drive. Classes aren't difficult at first since most of it is Art based, and you don't have to worry about your skill, and instead work on learning during your stay here. Although classes are long, (4 hours each) they go by super fast, and in some scenarios you can find yourself staying way longer then 4 hours because the classes are so great. Every class has it's own flair and every teacher is passionate about their work, so you will never encounter a teacher who is there to just teach.

Overall Experience: The people who work here know what they are doing initially. Although there is a small team, they manage to do what they need to do, and they are fully willing to help you accomplish what you need to accomplish. The faculty all have a passion for what they do, and everything that they do influences you as well as push you forward to accomplish a higher standard then what you would normally strive for. In regards to my experience here at Art Institute of Philly, I'd say it has been a positive one. Since it is in the heart of central Philadelphia, I get to enjoy the city life as well as meet tons of people that I can immediately make friends with. I have yet to meet someone who I had any sort of problem with, and the memories I made here will last a lifetime. Now although I'm only a sophomore here at the Art Institute, I know it's internships are very professional and well worth the time, and I can't wait til I start my own!

Online Courses: The online courses are very well polished. Everything is planned out and made very simple for the students here. Even if you don't take an online courses, one thing you will use is the online student portal. This allows students to get a hold of their books and be able to do what they need to do to be ready for class.

Student Body: The students here at the Art Institute of Philly, are very diverse. You never see two people who are extremely alike. Everyone here has their own interests and tastes as well as reasons for being here. However the one thing that all the students have here, is passion to chase their dream no matter what it may be. This makes us a family, and although we are all different physically, we all all related in that one way.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition here is great! I feel like I am learning a lot during my stay here at the Art Institute of Philly. Not to mention all the advances I am making in my major. I am learning tons of different types of things I can use towards the future in my career, not to mention I also maintain a friendly and mutual relationship with many of my professors here, which is hard to say about other colleges.

However the Financial Aid process isn't as strong as everything else in my school. It usually takes extremely long for me to come up with answers to simple questions that I may have. But I believe that although the process is long and harsh, I am making some value in regards to the tuition i receive and the amount that it costs.
