Although it's my first year at Texas Tech University, there are a few experiences I can share about this college. I have been fortunate to be able to stay in Murray, a residential hall that allows students to have their own private bedroom. Instead of having to use communal bathrooms, Murray residents share one bathroom with one roommate. The campus itself is also very great, with ample trees and numerous eating locations. I am also surprised with the diversity at Texas Tech. Seeing that the school is located in west Texas, I didn't think that the diversity would be this high. I plan on continuing my B.S. in Biochemistry here and look forward to what lays ahead. Wreck Em'!

I love Niche! They make it so easy to apply for scholarships and their website is super easy to navigate. Other websites are too confusing and aren't clear with what to do. I also like how Niche saves your information for scholarships so you don't have to enter the same information over and over again.

I love Texas Tech University. Ever since I was younger, I knew this was the school I would earn my degree from. I am majoring in Landscape Architecture and at first my plan was to transfer over to Architecture after one semester but I absolutely loved the program that I decided to stay and pursue Landscape Architecture. One of the reasons that my career path was influenced was the professors. They are absolutely amazing and I have learned a lot in the two and a half short years i have been there. The campus is pretty big but once you get familiarized with the buildings and the bus routes is pretty easy. Almost everyday day you see clubs, sororities/fraternities, TTU events out by our speech area promoting their clubs and wanting to recruit other people. I would like to see more greenery and I am not just saying that because I am a Landscape Major. Overall I love this university. The academics are great, it has great traditions and who doesn't want to be a red raider!
