I have had a great experience at Texas State. Every professor I have had was great. The only bad thing about the school was how far classes were from each other, sometimes I was late to class. Also the food is horrible. If you are trying to eat healthy Texas State is not the place for you. I believe they should have healthier food options. I love that Texas State and groups and organizations for everyone. There is always fun events to go to on campus. Overall Texas State is a great school besides the food and I would recommend it to anyone!

I recently transferred to Texas State a year ago and have not looked back since. Not only is the university growing in size, it is also becoming increasingly recognized for the academic success that students are achieving. There is opportunity for every field of study to not only gain knowledge, but to also experience hands-on activities that will be relevant and helpful to them in the future. There is a very friendly environment all over campus so that everyone has a place to fit in!

I am currently a freshmen, and Texas State University has really opened my eyes to the world. It has shown me that college makes you feel that you are alone, but there are always clubs and people just hanging around that you can talk to. Making friends is easy especially when you live on campus. It is a big school but has a small town feel. I've learned that high school is a lot different and that studying is not something you can do the night before like in high school. I love the environment and people here they are so helpful in my school work and everyone here wants us to succeed and graduate! I love the how college really has taught me to be more independent and made me realize the responsibilities of adulthood! Paying rent and having enough money for school and extra on the side. In all the experience at Texas State is an experience that is truly life changing!
