Scholarships: I could receive good scholarships but I end up failing some classes which lowers my GPA and I get to loose my scholarships which I plan not to fail anymore classes.

Campus Housing: We don't have any problems much we have a good housing environment.

Guys & Girls: In our campus we all get along we have a lot of good interaction. You can meet someone everyday and we always have fun things to doo meet new people. We a friendly school.

Athletics: I'm not that involved in sports but I've heard there really cheerful and we mostly pretty competitive.

Party Scene: I don't really party but there is some parties out of campus or near campus.

Local Area: Yes, the city of San Marcos is small but there's always some friendly people all around that want to do something fun.

Off-Campus Housing: Its better to live of campus because its cheaper but its also a difficulty getting around to your class if u going to drive or be on bus to get there.

Texas State is such a friendly, open, accepting university. It's not a super huge college, so the people aren't stuck-up or cocky like you might find at bigger universities. It's very relaxed on campus, and there's a very chill atmosphere surrounding the city of San Marcos, as well. You can feel at home at Texas State, and you'll be surprised to find how easy it is to make friends.

Texas State is superb in making sure its students are offered the opportunities they need to gain skills that will make them the most competitive in their field. Being a smaller university makes it even easier for academic advisers and professors to take the extra time to talk to students one-on-one about their future career paths. The professors and advisers are always eager to help.
